I still wonder how come you never reach a million subs .....this is great content I told you when I finish school I would like to start filming like you
This is what is called ecological rice quite unlike Uncle Bens or Jasmin or Basmati or so-called Thai rice with some preservatives and expiry date. Original taste comes from this type of rice. It's a vintage and premium quality rice! Well-done for shooting the video! It actually gave good PR and marketing for our national rice produce ....
If this was a developed country a lot of money will be invested into this place. This should be a huge industry able to provide enough rice for the whole country and also for exportation
Asian people eat the rice as a main food. I hope that Nigerians produce more rice if possible. Thanks for elaborate video on the rice harvest, processing, distribution. 🌻
I noticed the guys were in Abakaliki say the same prices, that's honesty from Rice millers, people should learn from these guys. Thanks again David for you awesome content.
Local rice is more nutritious. Foreign rice is all polished and every damn nutrient is gone. Meanwhile, kudos to Gov Umahi. I first visited AI in 1996. When I got back there in 2019, I was stunned by the changes.
Hi David, fantastic work you are doing. Would you be kind enough to link me with the contact in your video(the miller) that said he can supply. You did not leave a contact number to reach him as said in the video.
Educative video 💪🏿Sometimes I just wish I was the President of Nigeria so that I can change Nigeria. So many people working so hard but don’t have enough money to put food on their tables. God bless the elders for staying strong regardless 😓❤️
Yes, pray for a president that can make a difference. However, keep in mind the Bible says the poor will always be among us and, although they are poor financially, I see they are rich in spirit. I love how regardless of their circumstances they always smile and laugh. The love of God radiates through them in these videos and help make my day/night.
43 ok my dear you are a very important person i really need you to save me i have been broke for a long time due to impossibility and it is difficult for me to find a job so i beg you the best of me find 5ghc for food aid please
That north white rice that that man call bad rice is mainly good for Tuwo and it’s common in Hausa land It’s very expensive in abroad, I do buy to make Tuwo and Mosa
Lovely video. We need to build from the grassroots up. Most Nigerians just want a viable opportunity to work hard and get a decent reward for their efforts.
I look forward to your videos, David, no matter the topic because they're always informative, well-produced, and greatly detailed. Your efforts are truly appreciated! Peace, from the U.S.
Thank you Daniece, it always good to see your comment as well. I think its been a while you commented. Hope you are doing well and staying safe in U.S. Warm Regards
Wow, this video is really awesome. The camera angles, scenes etc. These kind of content fills me with courage to take pride in my country. Keep it up man 💪💪 much love from here 🇬🇧
My God!!! These people are working sooooo hard. They need government support and a better working environment!!!! Thanks for making and sharing this video.
I was the one that asked you in the previous video about where the rice dust is gotten from, it's nice to see how you actually showed us where... Weldone and good job
And that’s correct. Growing up in Nigeria my mother preferred Abakelike rice to foreign. She would take her time to destone tedious though!! But Abakelike rice tastes much better and healthier.
First time seeing Nigeria produce things for real this is beautiful all the work Dey put in all the effort am sure with good governance they will do better with more advanced equipment this is really beautiful
Actually the first for me too, to see these guys gives me joy, just need a good governance and equipment legitimately and they will make the nation a lot of money
Good afternoon David, this was a very interesting video, I never knew how rice was processed. I don’t know how they do in the US, maybe it’s quite similar, my thing is this the rice is not processed in a sterile environment. Therefore the product is dirty and may contain pathogens of some sort? And why would they throw the rice in such a dirty place the poor people to sort through it? Why not just have a food program that promotes clean sustainability food sources for the poor!! Your doing great work and I look forward to your coming videos!
Great that Nigeria is growing rice for local consumption. Southern Africa should encourage rice production too maize meal is the staple diet. Thanks David 😊
Thanks David for this content. Keep it up & there’s more we can do to digitize our economy as a country to better help improve our local businesses. Would like to visit this place someday.
Kudos man God bless you Mr. David for these documentaries and expose in Igboland. Abakalili agriculture is gold....the government &people should sustain and improve on it more.
Nice work and nicely done. I will visit this place ASAP. I have been looking at the wrong direction. I have been looking for where to source for rice paddies because I was about setting up a small mill. I found a place in Jos and kontagora but never knew there is a gold mine in my backyard. Thanks David for this content. Going to email which regards to the phone number for the gentleman because I need more information about the rice grades. May God bless you and your crew. Amen
I love what this brother is doing so much. I can't wait to see more of this. Wow, so this is how rice is milled? No wonder we will cook some rice in Lagos and before you say, Jack Robinson, the rice has turned to poridge, Lol, this has made me shift to Basmat rice since. Honestly, some of the rice will look so fine, and white and once gets into the hot water, it has turned to tuwoshinkaffi. Hahaha. Abakaliki grade A rice is the solution now. I will try and see. God bless you more. Brother looking forward to more documentary-like this.
Am glad you learned something from this video. More coming soon. Kindly turn up notification. Also do check out the channel for other content you may find interesting. Warm regards
Basmati is tricky to cook if you don't know how to go about it. You should first soak it in cold water before cooking , then boil with cold water and little oil. Remove from fire before completely done then cover with foil to finish cooking in its own heat.Local rice consumption has to be encouraged.
Hello my brother what I love about your videos you always explain everything in detail and you let us know the history of the surrounding areas as. And the views that you show on your videos outstanding. Thank you for sharing😊
Abakaliki rice is the best in terms of nutrition and is very cheap too, but when it gets out from here it becomes "GOLD" in the supermarket #35K too bad
This is outstanding,, I hope the Jamaican people would learn to do things like this,,we don't plant our food any more our government is only interested in importing,, Jamaica has now becomes a lazy nation,,, 🇸🇳🇯🇲🇬🇭
