@@elverdaderojavier Maybe because foreigners are less prejudiced and have a more adventurous spirit than local people.

@@JR0078 I live in Colonia Americana and have eaten at Soul Kitchen and a lot of the trendy places in Guadalajara. The customers are about 99.9% locals at all of them. There really aren't that many foreigners in Guadalajara that you could have a successful business that mainly caters to foreigners. The only business I can think of that always has foreigners is the Starbucks on Chapultepec.

Crime in those places is much more controlled than in places where there are not so many foreigners. examples: 1. Mérida (Very safe but very hot) 2. Riviera Maya (Beautiful and safe, but expensive and brown, it loses more authenticity. It is also very hot) 3. Los Cabos (Very safe, but Extremely expensive and also very hot. Although its landscapes are incredible) 4. Puerto Vallarta (Very safe and friendly, Beach and Mountain in the same place. Accidentally hot and reasonably expensive) 5. Chapala - Ajijic (reasonably safe, great weather and great expat community. Although it is a small town and there are few things to do. 6. San Miguel de Allende (Safe, picturesque, colonial, but increasingly expensive and with a very dry climate. There is also a large foreign community there. 7. Mexico City. (Huge city, many activities, many museums, but very chaotic and stressful. It is relatively safe there given the size of the city it is. 8.
