You can use a rocket launcher on Mimog. For whatever reason it doesn’t run after being hit by a launcher. But make sure to use a Ring of Mercy when you shoot it
Best way to farm coins might be to breed Mimog and then use the new butchery line facility to butcher it en masse as Mimog drops those coins. Try and find a male and female pair with nocturnal and philanthropist so they continue breeding at night and at a much faster rate. Also having a maxed out Mimog grants the same effect as the lockpick, so for that try to have one with stronghold strategist and vanguard perks to buff your stats at least, give it mine foreman aswell if you want more ores while farming.
I have had success farming Mimog so far. Having my pal spawn turned up to 3, and drop rates maxed out. I tested building a base a bit outside where a bundle of Mimog had spawned in the big ice biome, and they respawned, and they have respawn in that general location about 4 times now. I think i may have found a legit farming meathod. Let me know if anyone else tries this method as i haven't seen anyone else on youtube ot tictoc trying this yet.
So, you think they have set spawns? I'll have to try and find one and mark the location. I haven't paid much attention to the exact spot where I find them to see if they do respawn. thanks for letting me know😃
@JKhronoGaming1 Day 2 of testing this. I think they have certain parts of different bioms with higher spawn rates. They haven't respawn in the same exact location but have, in fact, respawn close by, over and over on different sides of my base. Like i can see them from the top of my base and glide over to them. Im at 1246 dog coins right now. Also, you can build around them before activating them, and they'll get stuck.
Higher level ones also drop more coins as far as i have noticed, even the droprate for the xl scrolls is 100% for me at least every time i kill them on sakurajima whereas if i farm then at the volcano crack where jormuntide spawns i rarely get scrolls from them and also much less gold and coins, so i think level affects the drops from mimog aswell
