Where to inject insulin 

The information is very good, but the visual is bad because we can’t see what the doctor is showing, the table gets on the way!

I use the BD Autoshield Duo needle where the needle is completely hidden and not visible. Works great for me as I’m unable to poke a needle if I “see” it. After use, the needle is safe to handle as it automatically covers the needle when released and presents no danger. Brilliant product! Hope that helps

I am horribly needle shy, shoot me! I use something cold from the fridge to essentially 'desensitize' the area I will be injecting. (I use water bottle, jello cup, pop bottle, that is cold/not too cold. An ice cube, as above suggested, probably works really good for numbing the site). But finding an area for injections is what I watched this video for. I'll be doing 365 injections a year UNLESS they change me to the 1xWkly, which is only 52 injections per year. (Yeah, a differ of 313 fewer injection sites; and 313 fewer shots!! In closing I want to thank you for this video. I found it extremely informative. Now excuse me while I open and enjoy my jello cup reward.

Are you supposed to purge the medication

When a new needle is put on there is AIR IN THERE, I found as much as 6 units, so if you want 20 units, you only get 14 units if you do not fill the needle first, in this video they do NOT fill the needle!!!!!

I just seen this video today and just started the long acting insulin 1 week ago. I am very thing as I am 54 5"8 121 lbs . So thin folks can get it to. The problem I have is there is no fat on me. I can not find a place to inject it with hurting bad. I also am needle phobic . Any ideas.

when u injected the insulin without insulin inside of it, u put air inside of ur abdomen. isnt that bad? i mean, it would be better if u would try it full and on a diabetic person if u aint one
