This was the most scenic video you made to date! Many people probably don't realize we even get snow here. These mountains have a personality in every season.
I’m a city mouse contemplating ABQ, but.....it could be enticing for friends and family who are more outdoorsy to have some options when they visit! Great video guys, thanks for posting!
@@AllAboutABQ originally NYC but have lived in Milwaukee about 15 years now. Really over the Winters here! Love the 300 sunny days,laid back atmosphere, and affordability of ABQ...so waiting for vax and then making a trip out. I work in auto F&I so pretty portable and flexible for work.

I am a trucker based in LA but drive thru NM on a weekly basis. I’m very interested in making ABQ my home, your videos are truly inspiring and a great view into life there. From the mountain range, you can see 2 even 3 hours drive away. I looked at a home rental in the "Scissor". Way affordable and gorgeous. I just hate snow these days.
We do live in a very diverse geological environment. We have high desert too alpine. I'm a recent transplant from out side Philadelphia. Besides the landscape being beautiful. I find people out he beautiful as well. Love living in the state of enchantment.
I live just south of Las Cruises now. I ledt my snow blower,boots, hat and gloves back inPennsylvania. When it snows here. It's just for the looks. It disappears by afternoon. No work involved. It is a nice place to retire. Hope your dreams come true. Mine did.
I miss the fresh air of New Mexico. There smell is great. Higher you go the colder....wait I think my cousins daughter lives there. Off I 40.. I will call her .
I lived in Cedar Crest as a small child. I liked it there, but it wasn't exactly a short or smooth commute for my parents in the cars of the day. There used to be (and maybe still is) the Bella Vista restaurant along the way which was quite good. BTW, don't try climbing the La Luz trail near the edges of seasons. I got snowed in on an March hike, and though I eventually got back down to the parking lot, but had a hard time getting my car unburied.
HI Skip, I'd read tempting descriptions of this area, and it's nice to see videos of it. Wondering about health care there, though. Do you know if there are any hospitals or doctors' offices out there? I'm thinking not, since the area seems sparsely populated. Thanks.

Generally...generally speaking, the city is nicer and newer and you go north and east or directly west. If you are lucky, you can find an honest Police Officer and ask him/her if the neighborhood is safe.
John Bob. Sadly, if you Google “US cities with highest crime rates” (per capita) you will find Albuquerque is very well represented. I did not check how old the studies were, and data is always shifting. I can tell you there was a record number of murders last year in Albuquerque. But hey, it’s home, and there are 300 or so sunny days a year, with low humidity. Either way, wherever you are keep safe!
