New Mexico Is a non-mutual combat state so getting out of your car to fight somebody for honking at you well glad you’re in jail.. like you said, know the laws.
Frito pies are served at picnics too. I wouldn’t recommend downtown cause of shootings. The breweries are cozy. Beer lab and bombs away have become favorites along with Nexus cause they have gumbo and all those places allow dogs.
Everyone is leaving because of major crime, decay, lack of law enforcement, job market and wages lagging far behind inflation, No forward vision from government, HUGE drug epidemic, HUGE mental health epidemic, resulting in a HUGE homeless population, massive influx of illegals. As a 50 year resident I can say with absolute certainty these problem have increased DRAMATICALLY over the last 10 years due to an influx of “progressive” ideologies from people moving here from California, New York, Illinois…etc.
Real life shops around and found out for 30 years I've been paying twice as much as everybody else in my family that lives somewhere else that's a wonderful Albuquerque
If you like getting out of the heat you're going to love being in your house with a swamp cooler cuz you'll be in there all day and most of the night I guess that's what they say about way to get away from it all just stay home
Now let's talk about the bus system if you're looking for the most wanted people of the FBI we're looking for drunks looking for people doing drugs number one place to find them is at the bus stop score on the buses themselves
Don't forget the Sea of homeless people the horrible amount of drug use leaving people Frozen in place on the sidewalks all around World travel groups business districts Hangouts for hundreds if not thousands unemployed and homeless
And then there's the housing if it isn't destroyed by mold it was probably a Cookhouse for drugs depending on how many illegal aliens plumbed your house ree Plumbing your house will be nightmare
Oh I forgot the road rage the drug dealers gone wrong then comes the speeding down the freeway the Steelers shooting at each other long long car chases your neighbor's got 400 cop cars around the house
Its not bad if you like outdoors. We got a lot of improving to do, but hey the flip side is one can only go up andnimprove from having nearly all the worst ranking in America. It will if the drugs were eliminated, those in the import business dont shiet where they eat. Turn into anither phoenix in a sense
Albuquerque is a fairly large city so like any big city crime is definitely here but so overplayed by the media. I'm originally from Las Angeles but have lived here for 25 years and have never had a problem.

IF YOUR A LIGHT SLEEPER YOU CAN GET A ROOM BY THE HOUR? 😉 👁👁. THAT'S NOT DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. BUT UNFORTUNATELY THATS ALL OVER IN EVERY STATE WHERE ALL DRUG ADDITIONS AND PROSTITUTION AREA OF AMERICA ARE ... SAD BUT TRUE... GET RID OF THE DEMOCRATS AND START PUTTING MORE TAX DOLLARS IN REHABILITATION AND COUNSELING CENTER THAT REALLY WORK AND STATE CLEANING AMERICAN CITIES UP... WE GOT START SOMEWHERE RIGHT?
Every place on Earth was covered with water in the flood of Noah. God destroyed everything on Earth because of people’s sins and it was God’s wrath and only 8 people were saved from God’s wrath because they had faith in Him. Noah listened to God and built an Ark out of wood according to the specifications God told Noah to make. Everyone mocked Noah for doing this. But the flood came over the whole Earth in God’s timing and swept them all away and it was too late for them to get in the Ark of safety. God spared the lives of those 8 people because they believed Him (they had faith) in God. It is the same as today. People on Earth are sinners and in need of the Savior God. We sinned against a Holy God by disobeying His Commandments. Even one sin done against God is worthy of punishment in hell… The Bible says if you have told a lie you will end up in a place called hell. If you have said God’s Name in vain that is called blasphemy and if you have stolen anything than you are a thief even if it was a small thing like a pencil. Even if you have looked with lust. 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28 Those are just a few of the Commandments. If God was to judge you based on just those mentioned would you go to Heaven or Hell? I know the answer for me is Hell forever because I sinned against God and that is His just sentence on all sinners. BUT GOD did something so that we wouldn’t have to go to Hell. He sent His Only Begotten Son from Heaven… the One that always existed with The Father in Heaven Jesus Christ to this Earth to take the punishment we deserved. Jesus voluntarily came and took that punishment by suffering and dying on The Cross for our sins that we may be free from the wrath of God. Jesus fulfilled the Law that we failed to obey. He kept all of what the Law said to do. This is why we need Jesus because without Him we would all be condemned. So in God’s mercy He sent God The Son to take the wrath of God. Jesus suffered and died on The Cross and was buried and three days later He Rose again from the dead defeating death and sin and the devil. When anyone puts their trust in Him by what Jesus did for them by believing in that message of the Good News then they receive the gift of eternal life and are given the Holy Spirit and are Born Again. They will be in Heaven with Jesus forever and ever. Jesus has full Authority over everything. He is God. Repent and believe the Gospel. This is a perfect picture of Noah and his family being saved from God’s wrath. The door of the Ark was the only way to be saved from God’s wrath. And now Jesus is The Only Way to be saved from God’s wrath. Jesus shed His blood and suffered and died on The Cross and Rose again so that we may be saved from God’s wrath. He voluntarily did this and it is a gift to us. Receive that gift. Repent and believe the Gospel.
Nice Video!! I love Edgewood, NM, and Pizza Barn. From my Apartment in Albuquerque, at the very east edge, off of Tramway and Central, it takes me 17 minutes to get to Pizza Barn. I Absolutely Love foing out there. It is so Refreshing!! If I had all the money in the world, I'll pick a Nice House in Sedillo, NM, Edgwood, or yes, Santa Fe. LOL. Thanks for the Video. Love It!!
The homeless population is growing at such a rapid rate but I love it because they are so diverse as a community. I love when I’m having coffee in the morning watching friends of the neighborhood 💩 on the sidewalk totally nude. It’s so free here I love it! Oh and the fentanyl use is 2nd to none. 5 stars all the way.
Skip! The lighted bags on Christmas are called LUMINARIAS. No "o" at the end. And, further north in Santa Fe, they insist that these are called Faralitos. The debate rages on with neither side willing to give an inch.
Nice video. i live in Albuquerque and have since 1999 but that still doesn't make me a local (by local standards). I have to comment. Many times in this video you said, "Rio Grande river." Rio Grande in Spanish is Great River. So, what you were saying is the "Great River River." You should know that it should just be referred to as the Rio Grande. No extra "river" is needed.
Reading some of these comments is really sadning i live and work downtown ive had my car stolen once a car jacker tried jacking me he saw stars and this happened in a good neighborhood seems you all need to maybe talk to the people who live and work in the hood they are awesome people
@@AllAboutABQ I'm 53 and only these 2 instances have happened to me in Albuquerque this is my home I love it here just saddens me to hear such bashing of my city I realize we have our problems and as long as people see the homeless as a different species things will not get better. I have to say I've never seen so many people helping each other like I see at my store. Just wish the mayor would kick it for a day on the corner of 2nd and silver by himself bet things would change quick
I thought N ABQ Acres was the place to be, but we found a home in the N Valley and I am so grateful. We have a large lot similar to NAA, but we enjoy city water/sewer, lush landscaping, flat lots. We also have the quiet, agricultural feel that makes you feel like you’re out of the city while only 7 min from a major mall or I-25.
I hope that you will do a video about the North Campus Area of N. UNM near the UNM Law School and the UNM School of Medicine. That area is gonna be HUGE soon. N. Campus needs more coffee shops and places to hang out. ALSO, our Mayor could use Federal Funds to encourage beautification of our City by using matching funds for planting trees and all kinds of things . Don't laugh, I called the city and begged for trees in the Medians and covered bus stops in 2008 and they took that seriously.....and it happened with a lot of persistence!!!! Wouldn't it be great if they gave matching funds to stucco and beautify property? It costs maybe $10K to stucco a house and the City REALLY COULD use Federal Funds to cover 1/2 of that cost .The Tree issue could be a Water Bill Credit.....you buy the tree and the city gives us a water bill credit! Anyway, thank you for being a proponent of our home City!!!!!!!! Nice work!
It’s obvious that you were only here to sow! First time watching you and you’re lying from the beginning. The three major towns in Montana have many nonstop flights, including Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix. Not positive about Albuquerque but I know you can do with one stop in Denver. There’s no way in hell you would have to take three stops to make the trip. My son goes to college in Missoula, Montana and I know a lot about flights that are available, although I do not live in New Mexico Please don’t buy if I know you’re lying then how many other people now. And also what’s with the “oh my gosh you could do shooting in Edgewood” like you think it’s something terrible! I’m sure you can do shooting in most parts of New Mexico. I’m not sure who you’re trying to appeal to but it’s very very sad.
@@AllAboutABQ didn’t you read my reply it said specifically “I do not live in New Mexico“ hello, which means I don’t live in Albuquerque. And if I did or did not live in Albuquerque. It would have no bearing on what I said of course in the first line I meant to say sell not sow, just saw that. When I go to watch a video on RU-vid about an area I’m planning to visit next year. I don’t want to see wise and ridiculous information. It’s so weird that’s all I’ve been seeing on most of the New Mexico tourist type videos. I’ve watched a bunch about Arizona and they don’t have the same attitude or ignorance as the ones about New Mexico. They’re all different people summer and real estate. Others are in RVs. Others are just traveling so it doesn’t make any sense I’m right in Mexico. I lived in Colorado for 30 years and I went to New Mexico usually twice a year mostly just the Taos Santa Fe Abiquiuarea but I’ve also been to the Native American Pueblo’s throughout the state. I’ve collected Native American art. I’ve traveled to old trading Post because I had such a strong interest. So I’m not just some nitwit from like New Jersey or something.
I moved from California to Albuquerque in the late 80s. The housing market was insane, jobs didn't pay, taxes were high. Crime rate was climbing. Moved to Texas in 93, no regrets. Housing is relatively cheap, good paying jobs, no state taxes, crime rates vary by city. But i do so much miss the mountains and sunsets, and the beautiful adobe house that I lived in.
Please u white people, Mexicans. Etc. Don't move to albq we already have to many immigrants. Look how this white guy talks about albq. Don't move here . We already have too many aliens here.
My fiancée has been offered a job in moriarty with a salary of $79,000 l, could anyone please tell me if this is a good salary for the area.. we are from outside the USA and we have to make a decision on wether or not accept the offer very soon.. thanks
I recommend you reject the offer as crime rates even in rural areas are climbing here. Also you will be bored out of your mind as there is nothing to do except watch the news about our worsening state. The guy who made this vid is merely a salesman trying to get your money so of course he will not be honest to you.
For that salary it should offer a comfortable lifestyle in the Albuquerque area. However, you should consider whether the local lifestyle here suits both of you.
