Wow! She said if your mental wellness is well then everything is well?? Privilege has entered the room. You can have a great attitude, yet have major life changes that make you unhappy. There’s disability, the death of loved ones, and so many other struggles that people go through. Some things are hard to deal with no matter what the state of your mental health is.

As a mental health patient, I hate meds just as much as anyone else ... but I do need them to be functional in this world. In the past I've believed some people who say, "Oh, you can just do this instead, don't take meds! Do this instead!" I stopped my meds once when I was vulnerable and ended up almost having a seizure because I just wanted to believe someone (who didn't have my problems) who said I'd be OK. Some of us really need psychiatric care, like those of us with psychosis, and I really hate people who profit off other people's suffering. Yes, meds suck, but at this point in time, that's what our society has to offer. I'm totally for holistic health care if it works for you, but it didn't work for me, and I almost died because of it. These people are scamming for their own benefit.

The fact that they smugly and condescendingly scoffed in their initial lawsuit/termination announcement live when they said "BY THE WAY we didn't leave for another company", shading the people who did...and now they tell us that they've been looking for a new company since NOVEMBER? Liars, liars, liars. The absolute audacity to be so visibly judgemental and passive aggressive about the people who left for a different company, to be so holier than thou, and then be like "oh we've been looking since November!" when that's the narrative that serves them. 31:05 the problem with big pharma isn’t pharmaceuticals, it’s capitalism. Everything from advertising to rushing development to unethical practices is motivated by money 99.9% of the time. I have a metaphor I like, where everyone is swimming through life but I have rocks for legs. Just big ol' boulders. I can't make forward progress like everyone else because I'm too busy struggling to stay above water as my rock legs drag me down. But then I got my meds! They're my floaties. Now I'm not sinking all the time anymore, so I finally had the ability to learn what proper stroke form is and actually put it into practice. But if you take off my floaties, no matter how much I've learned about swimming, I'll just start struggling to keep my head above water again. Because my legs are still rocks. Life is swimming. Therapy is swimming lessons. Meds are floaties. Mental illness is having rocks for legs.
@fluffyduckbutt24
@fluffyduckbutt24 2 месяца назад
I LOVE this analogy!! Others don't have rocks for legs, and they don't get to tell me I can't use my floaties to counteract the fact that my legs are rocks. And there is nothing shameful about using floaties, everyone who has rock legs uses them.

These "mental health" hun really tick me off. I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2004 following a combat tour to Iraq in 2003. And seeing that June is Men's Mental Health Awareness month is a good time to tell my story. But in context of this video, these people may have personal experience with mental health but that does not mean they are in a space to help others. Sure, I can share my story but it's my story. What works for me may not work for someone else because the human brain in my book, is the most complex organ in the human body. If you feel you are stuggling with mental health, please don't just seek advice from friends and family. While that might be a good place for you to start, I would also recommend seeking professional help from a qualified mental health professional. It's okay to admit that you need help! It's not a sign of weakness at all!

Not sure if it's intentional, but I'd bet it is. In the videos where she talks about Monat, she's dressed down, no make-up, hair tied back, so you only see her gray hair. It makes her look older, a bit frail, pale kinda like a poor old grandma. She's also sitting mostly in the recent videos, so she can't more much and show much energy. In this video, she has make-up, good clothes, you can see her dyed hair and she's standing, so she can move around more, she overall looks full of energy, colors, positive vibes. Seems to me that she's playing with how she wants to be portrayed and perceived, what emotions she wants to evoke in people in each video and associate with each company. Monat -> bleak, gray, no energy, tired -> bad, negative. Amare -> colorful, energetic, expressive, happy -> good, positive.

Super offensive because it’s not something that needs to be “cured”. Being a mom with a child who has needs is so hard. I was preyed on because of my son’s behaviour (he head butts the floor or hits himself due to frustration because he’s non-verbal). I wanted something to help him relax, sleep etc. Don’t come at me 😅 My hate for the company is SO strong. Thank you for the many times you have covered this company and the BS their consultants spew.

Anything you take for your health or wellness, you should ask why and how it works, and they offer no explanations. Cortisol is a major factor in modulation of acute and chronic stress. We have a waking cortisol response where we have a peak cortisol level around 45-60 minutes after waking up to prepare for our daily stress. Individuals with a blunted cortisol waking response (less cortisol) are more likely to report abulia and anhedonia. Then cortisol is required for stressors like surgery or sickness. An adrenal crisis is insufficient cortisol to maintain vital signs like heart rate, bp, perfusion, body temperature, respiratory rate. Obviously cortisol is controlled by outside stressors and blood levels change in response and it is required for stress response and tolerance but doesn’t dictate it.

Setting aside the people who need psych meds, even if the happy juice lived up to its claims, it wouldn’t truly promote mental wellbeing the way that learning self-management skills would. Spending the money to learn to manage anxiety, anger, etc., would cost less than buying happy juice month after month … in addition to building self-efficacy. Sometimes people call psych meds a crutch, but I’d say happy juice is (if it even works).

Real quick, let's talk about inflammation. It is not always a bad thing. Inflammation is just a lot of blood rushing to one area. This is a necessary part of healing injuries, as the blood carries vital nutrients. So, not all inflammation is bad, and not everyone is walking around with hella inflammation and on death's door. If you worry about inflammation, go to a doctor. An actual, licensed doctor who isn't pushing MLM products.

yes yes yes. Things we think of as symptoms are often the effect of the body doing what it needs to - a red inflammed area at a wound, bringing all those good white blood cells to attack any possible infection. The excess mucus during a cold - getting the stuff out of us etc The human body is amazing. Yes there are times it doesn't cope, but you don't need to detox if kidneys and liver ok. You are unlikely to have parasites unless drinking dirty water, and the serotonin in your gut is used by your gut - nothing to do with that in the brain.... Yet again and again 'a magic supplement' but we can't tell you the recipe, is the solution for everything. Yikes

It’s virtually impossible to be an ‘expert’ in these products cuz even if you were to know everything & be able to cite legitimate studies for every last ingredient in them, that does you NO good if you don’t know the amount of each thing in the products. There’s always gonna be a range of mg that you need to see the benefits from an ingredient whether an rx or a supplement, etc. Then even if you knew the amounts, why keep far more helpful, that doesn’t make you qualified to know who they can help + you’re gonna say it can help anything the person is talking about because the whole thing is predatory. It’s dangerous to blend mental health + an MLM + not knowing wtf you’re talking about!!

There are so many reasons I hate everything they’re saying, but my MAIN issue is the bullshit they’re spewing about inflammation. As a human who is diagnosed with a severe case of Ulcerative Colitis (similar to Crohns) and severe chronic migraine, I take offense to this and have proof on actual CD-ROM discs against what they’re saying. Inflammation (in the chronic illness sense) cannot just be defeated by diet changes. Your body is literally attacking itself. It is a genetic, biological issue. People who say shit like this diminish the ACTUAL pain and discomfort someone like me experiences due to inherited disease that cannot be cured (yet). Also Hey Hello Julie Jo, I ❤ you!

There’s a difference between a lifelong chemical imbalance mental health issue & situational mental health issues. She said she was getting a divorce for example & she could’ve been situationally depressed/anxious/etc but then as time passed move out of that. VERY different! I take psych meds but I’ve also implemented all types of other things to help better my life over the 6yrs since I’ve had the right diagnosis & learned about it. JJ is right this can absolutely end in su!c!de. That’s what you can end up with messing with mental health treatment & they don’t care because the majority of them in these types of situations have been called out. SO dangerous & if anything I wish the damn FTC could at least put an end to these MLMs. Would be nice to see them do SOMETHING!!

Julie's analysis @11;45+ is exactly right and exactly what this company of grifters don't want people to realize. That combined with the toxic positivity and hustle culture of MLM's and it's anything but a recipe for mental health. MLM's in general are ridiculous, but this one is dangerous.

I’m going to have to disagree with you about mental health. I think some things are strictly just genetic and don’t always have an underlying reason. For example, my brother has schizophrenia and I have a mood disorder. We’ve suffered since we were little. It’s not always situational. I eat healthy, workout daily, sleep enough and try and engage in healthy habits and still struggle on a daily basis. Medication has helped a lot

I love a good conspiracy but I do have to take mental health medications. Also my husband watches bitchite and has bought products like these and they were SHIT! Like no joke! Anyways I take meds for anxiety panic attacks and ADHD and let me tell you when I have tried to come off of them I have gotten the worst withdrawals. I highly doubt this stuff works. It's just the model they have to do there cult like tactics. It's a cult that's it!!
