Tosh was the man. Nobody really even comes close except for Bob. There's nobody with the courage these days to write songs like he did, at least not ones getting signed by the record company.

Well i have seen one that comes close to him & that is the Great Lucky Dube who people mistakes for Peter Tosh. You can check him out yourself & see as i say this is my opinion, you can decide for yourself.

I dont like it when fans try to compare and match Jah messengers. However, when it comes to Tosh and Dube, there too many equalizing parrales: Dube says he was inspired by Tosh. As you said, he can be mistaken for Tosh in voice and originality. Biggest equalizer: They were both killed by fellow men, allegedly by robbers. They left this earth at the same age. Both left specific lyrics that seem to foretell their deaths. Jah protects these soldiers. 'Rastas Never Die' ... Dube say!
