The best live performance in the history of reggae, I mean the guys were on fire. Santa Davids on drums, George Fullywood on bass. Oh my God the solo guitarists🎸and stepping razor's powerful voice
With what Africa is facing today, this song inspires the generations to keep on fighting for what belongs to them. A master plan from the genius of true living, Peter Tosh
The wailers was badass….period! Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer were all kings of reggae in their own right. My favorite was always Peter Tosh with his fight against injustice and pertains to this day, their music will always be fire!
What-a great song sang from the heart about oppression and fighting for freedom. A true fighter for the rights of people Tosh. You are a maverick all the way to heaven. Bless you. 🙏
I'm from 🇰🇪🇰🇪kenya a were African Legend singer RIP PETER Tosh sang the truth we are Africans and africa is us,we hve 2 fight for our rights LEGEND 4ever❤❤
Peter was a prophet and one of messengers who were sent for mankind to be strong while enjoying of Reggae music..he is ever blessing ❤ soul..Father why you are taking your messengers back to you and let us be alone on 🌎, we need powerful souls like Peter, Bob and Gregory to take your message to mankind. We feel that we are forgotten. .
Till Africa and Africans are free.Till Palestine and Palestinians are free, world over free up everybody.Let's fight on,RIP Tosh great man of all in our times.
Tosh was so bad ass. So pure, real.. wow. Big ups, much respect for Peter, R.I.P. Taken from us too soon. Best voice, best passion of any reggae artist that has ever walked on planet earth. (Sorry Bob.)
Couldn't have been said any better. I listen to this Angel every week for over 30 years and I feel like I just discovered the best artist ever every time. Truly a Bad ass just as you said!
I wish Jamaicans and prophet Peter Tosh knew how important your love for Africa meant to us,Jamaicans 🇯🇲 will never know how much love ❤ and respect Africa has for you .
No, it's the other way around.AFRICA will never know how much we Jamaicans love her and her people. Imagine being taken from your land , where you many never return but you will never give Africa up because you know that that's where your soul identify as where you belong.Imagie knowing that you belong to that place which no one can ever take from you, even if they mock you and kill you, imagine the sense of kinship and deep love you always have for that special place although you are told the worst lies that that place is so awful and in any case they don't see you As African. This is what we have been fighting against but we know what Africa means to us.Do you understand now why we love and thank you.Because we know we have a race and place where we belong
I only heard this song played on the radio about 3 or 4 times ....majority of these DJ’s are sellouts....not about nothing positive for their race. Thus song should have been all over the airways from 80’s until now.
Peter has been saying it all along the plundered Africa must be free. We must fight our leaders who are in collaboration with our suffering. Africa must be free. Blessed peter
My man . I love everything about this power black enriched nelinated man . Its always been my dream to meet him unfortunately didn't get get the opportunity to meet him in the flesh but I will meet him in the spirit Love a d Light Peter RIP and Rise in power
Peter Tosh is a KING in his own right. Very inspiring and thought-provoking song. "Africa is the richest place and it has the poorest race". An absurdity that is ensured by the SLAVE DRIVERS and their African collaborators. I think the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic actually depicts what the insightful Peter Tosh is saying.
I am a huge Bob Marley fan...but I am also a huge Peter Tosh fan. You spoke no lie at all. Peter was different. His songs and his voice really are inspirational.
Sério ? Mas vc só tem 16 aninhos menina , e que bom gosto pra musica , que tal escutar esta :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9i-YFgvKv74.html
Peter Tosh is a complete entertainer. I think he has more talent than Bob Marley. He seemed to have an edge over Marley but the recording companies accorded Marley more respect and recognition just for profit motive. However, an objective assessment of their works today will show Tosh's true greatness. His stage act was unrivaled talk less of his lyrics.
Amazing human being, sad to know he’s not with us anymore but glad he left us with his message and beautiful music to inspire and eventually bring an actual change for the better in modern day society.
Never too late! I was incredibly fortunate to see Peter Tosh with Jimmy Cliff during this world tour (you see in this video), in Canada! I was but a likkle youth but it forever changed me. An amazing memory with my brothers and my father. Blessed 🇯🇲❤️🇯🇲🇨🇦
Single handly one of the best performances I've seen. So much passion and so much energy. Thanks Peter tosh for the impact you had in my life. May your soul rest in peace! Never will give up
I liken his powerful spirit, to that of Robert sobukwe of the PAC, who died for the truth, never sold his people, tried and tested pan africanists, we are proud to say we miss you.
What a powerful protest song! Africa must never give up on her freedom. Living in poverty is a burning shame, so help yourself man.......! You live on Tosh!
More than a musician,a voice of us the voiceless masses.Big up from south Africa,we not giving it up we not want economic freedom, our land will give us that so we are taking back our land by amending our constitution to allow for expropriation without compensation from the settlers back to it's owners.
Woooow wooow wooow wooow what a great performance. What a great voice. What a great message. How I wish I saw him in concert. I'll love him forever. My all-time favourite Reggae artist. ❤❤❤
Best performance of Tosh to me. This was when musicians used to perform. Nowadays they play the song on the background and tell the crowd “Put your hands up!” And that’s all you get for your money
I remember watching this concert when I was young. Parents are massive fans of both Bob Marley and Peter tosh they used to play it a lot. this was my favourite song from it and I couldn't remember the name of the song because at work, I hear this song in the morning most times and it sounded similar even though it wasn't the song but the chorus sounded awfully similar which was like a rip off version from it. I then remembered some of the words from this song and was able to find and it was great to see the live version of it on here which was what I wanted as I remembered the clothes he worn in the concert. So glad to have found it, great song
I feel bad i listened to reggae music Tosh, Marley, Burning Spear and smoked weed back in high school and never really listened to the words Peter Tosh was saying. I bow my head and say thank you for letting me relive so many past experiences
I think that with a lot of his music. That is not to say the recorded versions aren't also great but there is that extra passion in these live performances which enhance the songs
