The idea of putting the 10 inch speakers in the larger Reformer cab and comparing agsinst the 12s would make a very interesting video. I'd personally like to see the Gold 10 and the Greenback 10. I think the Vintage 30 10 would be interesting too.
The EVH was my favourite clean. It would be a great jazz guitar speaker with that slight mid emphasis. The Anniversary was best at dirty to my ears, with the EVH runner up. EVH a great all rounder.
Nice demo. Yeah there is a 5 db sensitivity difference from the 10 and the anniversary plus, where the resonant frequecy sits so yeah, volume/gain will offer a huge difference.
Your exploration of the different qualities of the celestion speakers tou offer have been very useful. I think it might be instructive to compare your Reality 112 FR cab differs from regular guitar speakers. Are there more harmonics, higher highs, lower lows? Full range pa speakers are often what we hear at larger venues.
I like the EVH I think. I’ve got the 10’ Greenback in my DSL5 combo. Really nice update in comparison with the budget speaker. I would like to hear the 10’inch speaker in the 12’inch box! Or two different speakers in a cab. EVH/ Creamback or EVH/ Hempback. Or the GB instead of EVH. Like your videos guys!

I'd love a video on "conventional cabinet wisdom" as it applies to AVD cabs. There's a lot of little things people do to alter conventional guitar cab tone like angling up, raising off the floor to reduce bass, some people intentionally place open-back cabs near walls to get it to behave more directional like a closed back. I think it would be good to show how and if these "common knowledge" tricks behave differently with AVD cabs
Interestingly enough, I thought the G10 sounded closer to the G12H, loudness differences aside. 🤔 I have a G10N-40, essentially a G10 Greenback slightly tuned to suit some OEM request, and later sold as a regular Celestion speaker. Due to life circumstances I only tried it for a few minutes when I bought it, but it totally was in the Greenback ballpark, and I thought it sounded great, although slightly boxy (Celestion 10" speakers aren't regarded as the best-sounding 10" speakers you can buy, while 12" are the reference). I also bought the Celestion IR for the G10 Greenback mounted on a closed-back 1×10 and it's so boomy, definitely not what I'm hearing in your video, neither what I heard with my G10N-40 mounted on a 1×12 with an adapter ring. I need to give that G10N-40 another try in a more proper way, comparing it against a couple of my «most Greenbacky-sounding» Greenbacks. Yeah, I agree that mounting at 10" speaker in a 12" enclosure could be a better comparison. You could even consider offering adapter rings for such purpose, I made my rings out of 4 mm plywood and its strength is more than enough for a ferrite 10" speaker, definitely less intrusive than most 10" adapter rings found on the market. It was around 2016 when thanks to some great RU-vid channels I realised the speaker is what matters the most in your sound, the cabinet construction being 100% linked to the speaker, since it will actually fine tune its characteristics.
I like the EVH speaker for clean sounds... The aniversary speaker sounds great. Could you make a comparison between 2x12 blue, 2x12 aniversary and a 2x12 creamback H 65 for heavy rock sounds? I'm still not sure what speakers I like most...
I just bought one of these g10 greenbacks for a replacement for a 70s peavey amp. So far I am not impressed. I hope it breaks in well because out of the box it's very underwhelming.
