Which Car is the BEST Car in Rocket League. Today's video is answering the age-old question, which car is the best car in rocket league. Some say the octane, some say the dominus, and recently some have said then fennec. Well, today I have done a little bit of research and my own personal testing out to find which of these cars is the best in rocket league. While personal preference plays a big part in understanding which car is the best car in rocket league, it is also important to know which car is the overall best, and which is the best car in rocket league for you.
I prefer the octane or the fennec, but many freestylers prefer the dominus. At the end of the day, you need to dedicate time into the game to understand which car better suits your playstyle and which car is the best car in rocket league for you.

I used the Octane so much starting out because it's the most accurate and most popular. I started feeling a slump with the Octane and needed something new. I noticed that Arsenal from SSG is a Fennec main now and with the two cars having the same hitbox I knew the transition would be easiest. Once I got the Fennec and tried it out in freeplay and training, I immediately felt the difference. To me, the Fennec hits harder and actually represents the Octane hitbox better than the Octane from a design and visual standpoint. The corners are more easily definable and there's not a tail wing on the back that can throw off how you hit the ball. The Fennec has a clearer and sleeker design, making it obvious to use. I'm a Fennec main now.

This. Personally I use Vulcan because even though the height on it looks much smaller than it’s actual hitbox, I can use a topper like Ghost Trap to adjust for that.

Why I'm a Fennec Main: It feels like a combination of the Dominus and Octane. The additional "bulk" you mentioned is also nice. I feel like I can take bumps better and make heavier touches with the Fennec than the Octane. I actually feel like my flicks are best in the Fennec of the 3 cars you have here. Also, I spent hard-won credits on this thing, I'm going to use it.

If you want a hybrid between the 2 then try Skyline or other similar hitboxs. I believe X-devil has the same but Skyline just feels better

I did a little test because I didn't know what car I preferred out of the octane and the fennec, so I did a few tests and the one with the biggest difference was with the ground pinches, I did 30 mins with both of them and my highest with the octane was 136 while me highest with the fennec was 158 and I got 158 twice. Personally I agree with what you said, that the fennec feels more bulky and it has more power. While I feel as if the octane I have more control over but I don't get as much power in it.

I’ve been using octane since I started to somewhat take the game seriously (silver 1) and I haven’t looked back. I like the design and it feels so nice and light in the air for me. I have never had a fennec, but I am super comfortable with the octane

I first started with the dominus mainly because I thought it looked cool. When I realized how flat the hitbox was, I generaly felt like it was harder to control the ball knowing that it's harder co,pared to the octane. My main is now the octane simply because it feels easier to control. It doesn't feel too heavy nor too light as to the dominus, which just feels heavy at times and super light at times. This simply makes movement hard to control in the air. For example, one day I hopped on and realized that it just felt abnormally light and decided to try the octane. Though when Thanovic refers to the fennec feeling bulkier, based on watching fennec gameplay, it seems to only look a small bit lighter than the octane. I don't have a fennec yet but I really look forward to receiving a fennec or something trade-worthy of one. For now I will stick to the octane though mainly for the predictability and ease with aerial control. P.S. Sorry for the mini essay lol. Apparently I'm good at writing but if that's true, this just interests me and I get engaged.

There are definitely differences between cars in the same hitbox! There not the same besides the hitbox. Turn radius on the ground, handbrake turns, air speed handling and how hard the ball is knocked away. This feels always different.

I use fennec because it feels like I move faster. When I use octane it feels like no sensitivity and it takes ages to turn in the air. Also octane has a pointy end compared to its square hitbox which is bad.

At the beginning, i hated the octane without a reason lol. Then, i switched to Nissan GTR for long time, and when the Fennec came out i started using it all day and all night, and my playing style got better and better. For no reason, when I switched to the Octane, my playing style became a lot better and some mechanics are more accurate. Plus, things like dribbling and ground control now is much better with the octane. At the end, Octane is my main car and I face some difficulties using another car. Like you said, it is personal prefrence.

I main skyline tbh , best car for me! I never was fond of the majority of RL players using the octane or fennec. I’ve used any car and have many cars but I never liked the octane just for the reason that I don’t want to use a car that makes it easy for everything, I like to use a car that takes practice so when people see how I play, they think I’m smurfing but really I like to use a car that requires you to actually train in

I like to use fennec when I play 1s because I feel better when i do kickoffs/50 50s. I also feel like I get more power in the fennec like in the video. I like the octane when i try to do more flashy stuff or I want to feel faster like in 3s or sometimes 2s. It all depends on how I’m feeling.

Nowadays there are 6 types of hit boxes : -Breakout -Dominus -Hybrid -Merc -Octane -Plank Each of the hit boxes are related to playstyles. For example i use the hybrid hit box with a Jager 619

Better said, Octane: Fast spinning in the air wich means it feels lighter, good for 50 50, dribbling is easy and easy flicking Fennec: much morr powerful touchey on the ball bc of the corners, fennec is slower in the air wich makes it feel heavier, good for all sorts of stuff, in the air, octane the same in the air, Dominus: longer, worse for 50 50 than octane and fennec, is the slowest moving car in the air wich makes it feel really heavy, presiced hits bc the body shape is easy to use wich means its not like the octane, its visualy just one line on the front but octane only gas the one front bumper, the whole thing is not a straight line, good flicking with dominus and controlling the ball on the top is easier, dominus is better in the air bc more presiced, so now you know what you should use, for rank i use fennec bc i can get much morr powerfull hits than with the octane and flicking is also easier for me on the fennec

I main the octane just because I can see wheels better, long ago I mained to road hog bit switched back to octane. Soon I got a fennec and played so much, around 100 matches but mained octane again. There was also a time where I mained the Skyline and DB5. My go to cars are octane, fennec, skyline, db5, dingo and dominus

As a constant uploader, it'd be nigh on impossible to see it from outside your window. I've watched many of your vids and learned a lot. Some are great vids but this one sucks. Lucky for you, boomers aren't your crowd, though.

@@Thanovic Lemme try putting it this way. For the same reasons we shouldn't engage in the "what a save" toxicity, I believe uploaders shouldn't follow clickbait-esque trends. Try humour, editing, story-telling... whatever... there's angles that you can use while maintaining quality and integrity. Now go, have yourself a good year too.

for than's question... i use dominus , i play a lot in the air and the shooting is sooooo much better for me respect to octane (even the simple powershot i barely do right under the net corners with octane ) and beign wide and flat i fell i control better the ball on top of the dominus

I use the Marauder, it's got a pretty sturdy body (probably same hit box as octane). But it's cool.

Ive gone between so many cars cuz back then i didn't know about the hit boxes but when i did i instantly used octane and a short amount in the fennec but now im 100% octane

I used to main the octane when i first started and it was difficult for me to do air plays. I switched to dominus and it was just a lot more easier to do air plays. (Not that im good at air plays)

Interesting, i find the fennec easier to flick than the octane. But overall gameplay i feel like the octane is the best personally.

I use the cars with the highest roof. That funny pill looking thing with the four wheels on little metal struts coming off of the main body. The Scarab.
