The emotions that the Entity seems to "enjoy" are about killing or conflict with oneself, so idk if empathy is something that the Entity would even consider on a KILLER

The best thing often times for Xeno survival is to serve the Queen, as she lets them make more numbers. Sure, any Xenomorph can become a Queen, but I think that just demonstrates why they're so important. A Queen *always* needs to be around, even if she's the last one left.

@HabitsRabbits I understand your point, but the queen isn't a necessity. It is a step to further a population of xenos, but a xeno can be fine for a long time without a queen. Alien, Alien 3, even Covenant, despite how much people bash that movie, show this fact perfectly. And in Covenant the queen doesn't even exist technically

@@bradyman-child Tbh, I feel like the examples you just listed are actually more to the benefit of my argument than not. In terms of Alien. None of the events in the movie would've happened without the Facehugger, which would've presumably been put there by a Queen since the Xeno in this film follows the traditional lifecycle of the species. Also keep in mind that 2 people died in this movie before they even knew what was happening, and Ash was actively sabotaging the crew the entire time before and after that point. Only Kane and maybe the people stuck on planet would've died had Ash not opened the door to let them in like Ripley instructed. The Xenomorph in Alien 3 kinda benefited from the fact that it was in an environment suited exactly to its needs. No conventional weaponry, everyone on the planet are assholes who don't work together, there's a massive air vent to sneak around in, etc. It was kinda perfect for the creature, although please don't misunderstand me as calling Solo Xeno's weak or lackluster, they certainly do a lot of damage when they tend to come out. Covenant is kind of hard to discuss in this context because of David's mettling, both with the Crew and the creation of the Protomorphs themselves. I know that's kind of a copout response wise, but if I remember right no singular event in that movie would've happened without his interference, so it's a bit hard to judge how the species itself is performing in that environment. Yes, it is true that Xenomorphs will often choose not to have a Queen around until they deem the area around them safe and suitable, but doesn't that imply all the work they've been doing up to this point is to eventually set up a nest to either become a Queen or serve the new one? In a way, the Xenomorphs in the films are trying to survive specifically because they want to be Queens or serve one. It is their driving motive in life as animals, because they don't really have any other drive. Because of this, a Queen in the Entity's realm might actually be either inevitable or the best option for the Entity. It didn't have to snatch the one that I imagine is from Aliens, but if it didn't, it'd either have to find a new one, or let one of the Xeno's in the realm evolve into a Queen, essentially resulting in the same thing. Sure, the Entity could stop them from evolving and torture them into working for it anyway, like Trapper, but that's much more difficult than just giving them the Murder Mama they want, and it could even backfire on the Entity. What happens when the Xeno's in the realm realize they won't be able to multiply after enough decades in the realm? Are they smart enough to make this realization? Do they make the instinctual decision to hibernate until they can colonize their surroundings? Is this a hornets nest the Entity wants to kick decisionwise? Xeno's do live for the survival of their species, it's why they serve Queens to begin. Presumably, even if they were aware of now being immortal in the Entity's realm, I doubt it'd make them stop trying to create a Queen or wanting one.
