Lived in UK 25 years. Never seen or heard of anyone using aged balsamic vinegar to marinade a steak. BROWN/malt vinegar is not balsamic - brown vinegar is okay for marinating things like skirt steak.

Omg I was crying when he said that was the Mexican way to season/marinate skirt steak 😂 I have THE best seasoning for Fajita’s and it does not need to be this complicated , I just season an hour before or even while cooking and I’ve often had people tell me that I make the best fajitas they’ve ever had 🔥

I get Patrick said he relied on Google for this (almost always a bad idea), but I have to ask... who told Google the UK uses Balsamic Vinegar on steaks? Was it the same person who told Guga that HP Sauce is used on Beef (It's not, like at all). I mean even if we did use a kind of vinegar on steaks it's more likely to be Malt Vinegar as that's what we traditionally had. In reality we're more likely just to sear the steak with Salt & Pepper and serve it with English Mustard (think of something that is the colour of American Mustrard but as hot as Wasabi). That said our main way of having Beef is roasted as a joint, served with Yorkshire Puddings, there's a reason the French call us "Roast Beef"

At least he didn't get a chance to stuff up an Aussie steak :)) and a little surprised we weren't included as we also produce great wagyu, and also surprised Argentina weren't included who eat meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and are one of the biggest beef producers in the world. Also no need to marinade every type of steak either. Most times simple is better. Still a great video

Mexican food is different all the way along the border, west to east. I live in southwest Arizona. California, AZ, New Mexico and Texas all have their own thing going on. I'll never say any one is better than the other. It's all great, no need to have a best.

I would not say this is a which country has the best steak tier list, this seems more like a marinade competition, needs done over again and only focusing on the meat, because there was no way that Japanese wagyu would loose so badly if cooked properly and not marinated, Guga should do this properly.
