The fact that Medoh can fly automatically makes it the strongest. Makes 2 of them useless. Naboris is the only one that can effectively do Damage to it.

@@zemi3154 Medoh has the shield points while the others have nothing. Medoh would get rid of either Ruta or Rudania before they can pull the shield down and take it down. Plus Medoh can just move it’s head down slightly. Easier to look down than up. Point is Medoh is the most powerful beast. Naboris can take care of it the fastest cuz it just has to spam ⚡️to take care of the shield. No need to aim while the other 2 r fked. It can use the beam and more lightning to finish the job. Also medoh flies faster than them on the ground

You missed a few abilities.. Naboris can run and also has a shield.. and Ruta also has a shield.

My ranking is this 1.) Vah Ruta- Easy to learn and control. It’s Icicle barrage is my favorite where you pick your targets. 2.) Vah Medoh- Hard to take out mobs but great with outpost or big mobs. Hard to control but you can cause a lot of damage once you do. Doesn’t have a charge up like Ruta or Naboris. 3.) Vah Naboris- The electrical wave is nice, biggest drawback is it’s normal attack is hard to use. 4.) Vah Rudania- You can’t have your shield up the whole time like you can on every other divine beast. The counter attack just takes to much focus. It doesn’t have any features that make it better in any way to the others. It doesn’t have a cool down like Ruta or Naboris but Medoh is the same way.

Its weird that according to this list, the less powerful a Divine Beast was, the more devastating the disaster they'd cause would be. I mean, Ruta was gonna flood at least a massive portion of Hyrule, Rudania was making a volcano erupt which would probably become a huge issue eventually, Neboris was shooting lighting at some of the travelers in the Gerudo Desert, and Medoh was just kinda inconveniencing the Rito a little bit. Also if Medoh is the most powerful then why is it that Medoh is the ONLY Divine Beast I've died as when playing Age of Calamity? Seriously, Medoh is as brittle a glass!

Vah nabohris greatest flaw are (her?) it's legs. Sure they are massive but if it where to fight another Devine beast it would be easy to throw onto (her???) it's side. Also lightning maybe effective aiganst troops if another Devine beast shows up it would be a different story especially with Vah rudania.

We also saw that Naboris could in some way scale a moutain, after freeing it. That is kinda sick. Vah Medoh is still the most powerfull tho, I mean it basically have a guardian lazer machine gun, a seemingly impenetrable shield around it and it can fly.

Brilliant analysis dude, theres much to be said about all of them I had a feeling you would break it down to a particular one, but I do feel sometimes like its apples to oranges. :') eg Rutah is basically a more of a mobile tank that can smash through obstacles. Nabooris is basically a walking guard tower and fortress. Rudania is...basically metal gear but let's not go there. :')

When you were talking about defensive options of each of the divine beasts, I can't help but say that the majority of them don't need to attack in order to defend themselves, as Vah Naboris and Vah Ruta have a system that allows them to defend against incoming projectiles and intercept them, using a sort of air-defense system. Vah Rudania, I'd have to say, got the actual worst of these countermeasures (no pun intended), with a counter, where it grabs the incoming projectile. You can see this in age of calamity, as their defensive abilities.

I would mostly agree, although Vah Rudania is a bit of a wild cards to me. It definitely isn't last, but I feel it's mobility would put it in second at least, potentially rivalling Vah Medoh if only in it's ability to use the terrain to ambush foes.

In Age of Calamity Medoh was my favorite to use. So when I saw this video my initial thought for ranking was the same although I feel like Ruta may be more powerful than Rudania because ruta can make a shield around it self and Rudania can only grab projectiles.

I think vah naboris is the best because it has lightning strikes and insane attack power also without the force feild the sun prinesses gives you you would die insanely fast (also it is my favorite one out of all the divine beasts for various reasons espesily because of its looks)

I wonder if a Franklin Badge (from the Mother series) could protect from the lightning of the Camel (since it can reflect any electrical attack in the Mother series back at the attacker, with the user taking no damage from the electricity).

That is a good question. If you get attacked from your back and it triggers a suprise attack for your opponent, if they use a lightning attack for their first turn, meaning that it can reflect lightning from both sides. It can reflect all tiers of lightning, but it's unclear whether it can deflect lightning that comes from the sky. My personal guess would be that it could, my evidence being how big the thundermite sprite is compared to other enemies that can then be compared to ness. If it did work I'm not sure if it would even hit naboris because reflecting something thats coming down on you would just send it back up, not toward naboris.

Why do the Divine Beasts have such convoluted insides? What's the point of all the puzzles? Wouldn't they make it harder for the pilot to access them in case of emergency? I feel like out of all the mysteries in BOTW, this one is the most in your face, but I don't hear anyone talking about it.

I think that divine beasts have a "type" like in pokemon. I would think Ruta would have the advantage against Medoh and Rudania because it can spit water to the air, and people often underestimate its power, water can destroy anything at a specific speed, this is why tsunamis are so deadly. Medoh, would have the advantage against Naboris because Naboris may be strong when you are near it, but when you're 10 kilometers away from it in the air, it can't do anything. Naboris would probably have the Advantage against Ruta, because water conduct electricity. And Rudania would have the advantage against Medoh because its meteor can protect it from the attacks from the air.

You know what's funny is that Gannon was trapped under the castle 100 years ago so he very well could have known every single thing that the royal family were doing including how to take down the Divine beasts and that he may have been able to take over the Guardians so really the royal family doomed hyrule because he very well could have had little tiny malice eyes watching everything that's happening inside the castle

Dr.Willy: Lava can basically burn right through almost anything while water can't Me Most lava is anywhere from 700 C to 1200C when coming out of a volcano which means that Vah Ruta might not be able to vaporize diamond and water at high pressures which the sheikah definitely can get to if we can do that can easily cut through diamond

Amazing video, you have good reasons and arguments which are very good and strong, but i have to disagree. Naboris can manipulate electricity and what is powering Medoh and all the other divine beast? The blue flame which is a combination of fire and electricity. So (i think) naboris may be able to overheat or stop the electricity in the divine beast. Another thing is that urbosa can manipulate the weather, creating lighting, if you place some rito on Medoh, she'll just have to clap de fingers and boom, dead. And we all agree that no one can defeat her, not even revali!

@@drwily well ill be honest with you in my idea. Heres the results: 1. Supes doesnt need no items no horse no keys since he can fly and speed blitz the enviorment. And just crash through temple doors and walls and ceilings. 2. All enemies/bosses die in 1 hit like saitama. 3. Hyrule would praise him like a true god even more powerful then the triforce godesses 4. Unless Ganondorf knows about kryptonite, hell be slashed to ribbons as Superman with the master sword will tornado spin at light speed and slice ganon into a million pieces in 3 seconds.

What he is forgetting, is the fact that ruta, has a less vulnerable shield at its disposal. And Rudania has a laughable defensive capability at best. Ruta also seems to be able to transition from bodies of water nearly instantly, and has literal missiles that can seek out its target. Plus ruta is built like a tank, and I’d wager that it could take a bigger hit, and frankly more hits in general than any of them. And let’s not look over the fact that in the real world, even with our comparatively low level technology, water is still the most effective cutting tool for things like stone. And ruta is a super bot that can spew endless water at enormous pressures. Meanwhile all rudania has is flaming feet and big rocks.

Well we dont knouw cause the only thing we knouw is that they have beams (all the same) and in this fight medos flying wont help and age of calamity is sadly not canon (cause there link was 17 when he got the master sword But canonacly he got the master sword with 12)
