The Universes Beyond Commander Decks have been fully spoiled and released, but which precon is worth the most from a card value perspective? I break down which of the four decks (Paradox Power, Blast from the Past, Timey Wimey, and Masters of Evil), is worth the most and some highlights from each.

It's very important to recall that it is constantly the case that cards drop significantly in value upon release of any set.

Cashbro has turned Magic into a car lot. As soon as you drive your cards out of the pack their value declines by half.

Worth noting that these values are for all 100 cards in each set. I don’t think anyone is buying even remotely that many singles; if you’re only needing 5-6 of the cards per deck, it’s likely still saving you money to go that route, unless it’s only the top value ones at their release (pre-price decline) rates.

You can feel as good as tou want. This prices are not realistic. When the product releases everything will drop in price very fast.

@@MTGRecon nah it truly didn’t, the decks can’t have that much value and be sold for 40 bucks, you know that isn’t how value works in a precon. A few cards will be expensive but most will be worth less to nothing and selling it to a store means you pretty much get nothing back. That value you gave is ridiculously lol

Can confirm! I've played precon tournament and had a lot of fun. I've lost the final game against Aesi and Eowyn tho, cause I was too slow at the beginning :

Bought the masters of evil precon, very good if you like getting early mana and duplicating davros so you can double the villainous choice to draw cards so you could draw 6 cars and make 2 daleks every time you attack and do more than 3 damage, great deck.

@@SilverWolf89936 it’s intended to give a sort of value number. You can compare video to video to get a general sense of value between decks between sets to see which have better cards/reprints.
