Guards are for real. Injuries derailed last season. They were one of the hardest teams to strike out last year and hard hit balls just weren't falling. The sophomore slumps in Gimenez and Kwan hurt too. This team will be around for awhile

Indians are for real and Brewers no doubt. I am die hard Indians fan, home team. And be honest. I was not sure coming into this season with new manager and with how things would shake up, I figure we probably be at .500 right now but the way they pitch, hit, run the bases, aggressive, The Indians changed their hitting in the offseason and it is showing big time like Kwan, Naylor, Freeman, and our big guys like Ramirez got some RBI's but batting average now where it should be, Will Brennan average is not where it should be, they warm up more in the summer, so the Indians will warm up even more, and their pitching is very good, even with Bieber out, we still be up there with the best. And with the new manager who is aggressive and not afraid to take chances in what Vogt is doing, this is why I say Indians and Brewers be up there, other teams will fade half way into season. Brewers and Indians will take the divison this year.

The Braves City Connect jersey has a super deep connection to the city if you are a Braves fan and know your baseball history. It's not just A throwback jersey. It's THE throwback jersey to the Braves 1974 home jersey, the year Hank Aaron broke the home run record. It's probably the deepest connection any team's City Connect has to the City and the franchise. As a lifelong Braves fan and a 30 year old man I get one little wall in the bedroom to hang things on between the bathroom and closet door. Everywhere else in the house if fancy absurdly expensive paintings of landscapes and other nonsense. On MY wall there's a Ronald Acuña Jr. jersey, a signed plack from Chipper Jones and 8 baseball cards in sealed hard cases. Of those 8 cards one is a Hank Aaron rookie card, and one is a 1975 Hank Aaron card commemorating his 715th homer. Hank Aaron is THE player that represents the Braves franchise and especially the Atlanta era (even though he started in the Milwaukee era). All you hear from old Braves fans is how big it was to get a baseball team back then. The first major sports franchise in Atlanta and the first MLB club in the deep south which had once been considered an untenable market because the brass in NYC thought it would be too poor to support a major league franchise. But in 1966 they came. To a southern city just integrated barely a decade prior, representing a league just integrated only a handful of years before that. And leading that team was an African American man who became a hero to the whole south, but especially to Atlanta. Then 8 years later he did the once unimaginable and broke Babe Ruth's home run record (and to us still rightfully holds it to this day). Jackie Robinson may have integrated baseball, but Hank won over the South and carried Atlanta on his back. The Braves wore that throwback every year until MLB banned any special uniform other than the City Connect. So the only thing the City Connect EVER could have been was that.

I picked the Royals to win the AL Central and the Pirates for a wild card spot before the season started, and I like what I see for them so far I'm a Brewers fan but idk about this season. hoping for the best, but the pitching is suspect and Yelich is already on the IL not buying the Guardians. not enough top-end talent on the roster. Tigers seem like a 81-81 type team to me.

Strength of Gaurdians is bullpen and 2 out RBI...when the world thinks starting pitching and defense (both of which are VERY GOOD)TRIBE ....YES YES & YESYES

The tigers are not hot. They usually only score runs when the other team makes errors. They have a really good bullpen, that is it. There isn't a single star on the Tigers team. Tork is meant to be a power hitter, zero home runs so far. Kenta Maeda allowes about 4 home runs per game. Javy Baez can't hit the broadside of a barn. Their best player is Kerry Carpenter, who really isn't very good, but has a hot bat as we speak, but is slower than my 10 year old in the outfield.

I want to say KC and the Brewers. They have more than what is on paper.

I know a lot of people ragged on the Brewers hitting last year, but they had so many first and second year guys in the lineup that were trying to “figure it out” at the major league level. I’ve already seen guys like Bryce Turang, Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins make some tremendous strides this year. I think this year’s roster has the ability to do some damage and the scary thing is Christian Yelich has been out for the last few weeks. He’ll probably be back in the lineup in about a week or so. As you pointed out, the question mark will be pitching and it’s going to be an even bigger mystery now with DL Hall and Wade Miley going to the DL in back-to-back days. I think the Brewers middle relief and back end are pretty good and will get better when they get Devin Williams back. The Brewers may need to just “out-hit” teams until they can get to the middle-back of the bullpen. I’d like to see the Brewers try to trade for a starter before the deadline to bolster that rotation. That’s not a rotation to me that screams it can win playoff games and pitching is just so damn important when it comes to the postseason.

I dont really think the guardians have played anyone competive except boston and the yankees. We will see once they play againts more competive teams
