Hello maam Criselle, just want to say that this vlog is so helpful and confirms my contemplation on whether to use the installment feature of my credit cards. Now, I am fully decided that I am doing it right not to use this feature to really avoid overspending in my future purchases. Gusto ko lang din talaga na laging buo yung credit limit ko whenever I see it in my bank's apps kaya I always pay my cards in full. Thanks po for this video. :)

When the merchant says, straight payment, charge sa CC, buo siyang babayaran from your credit limit, you can leave it like that, then bayaran mo siya ng buo on or before duedate, however, the merchant can say charge to CC in installment, buo pa ring babayaran from your credit limit pero when arranged with your Bank, you can pay in installment basis, babayaran mo na siya ng installment, or there is also the Balance Conversion/Pay Lite, abtp. na pwedeng bayaran monthly but with interest. Pero may mga merchants din na nag o-ofer ng zero intrest kapag si merchant is affilliated kay Bangko kaya it is also advised that before we purchase, it's best to call the Bank officer first to clarify on payments and charges.

Bago lang kasi ako sa CC gusto ko kasi pagandahin ang credit record ko. Question: Yung credit limit ko, mas maliit kesa sa monthly income ko. Gusto ko mag purchase let's say 40k na gadget. Eh 30k lang ang limit ng cc ko. May 24 months installment yung gadget. Nalilito ako if mapupurchase ko ba yung gadget ng installment or hindi kasi lagpas sya sa credit limit.

Hi Raf! Convert to installment or balance conversion is depende sa Bank. Kapag may acceptable balance to convert and if it is a feature that can be done. Maganda siya because you only have to pay a 1.2 or a little higher interest, depende sa credit card's Terms and Conditions. Yong regular installment sometimes give zero interest depende na naman sa feature ng CC mo. Mga interest will always depend on the Bank and in their terms and conditions. Hi Katrina! 🙋 Kailangan na clear out with merchant na installment nga talaga kasi if it was not properly transacted as installment, lalabas sa SOA mo yong buong amout. Suppose to be pag installment ang transaction, yong monthly payment mo lang dapat yong lalabas sa SOA mo. You can go back sa merchant kung kanino mo binili yong item and clear it out kung installment ang transaction mo. If not, call the hotline and request for a balance conversion para mabayaran mo siya ng installment in terms pero meron na siyang interest.

Sa conversion ng straight payment, usually may interest na yan. However if you plan for the balance conversion, tatawagan mo si Bank para malaman if the Bank can qualify your bill into installment. Meron kasing certain amout ang ma qualify for balance coversion, it varies from one to another. 🙂

May mga effiliated merchabts ang nga Bangko kaya yong iba 0% interest sa installment. Better itanong sa merchant kung may patong ma interest at kung meron, tanong mo na din kung ilan.

Kaya if you pay it all, babayaran mo pa din yong interest. Hindi siya deducted para kasing binayaran mo lang siya in advance but the ineterest is still there.

The key is, talk with the agents of the store and ask first before purchasing and ask if that's arrangement is possible. - One time, I went to one store to purchase my son's laptop, sabi nong seller at first, di raw pwede yong ganong arrangement, but I went back the ff. day, yong supervisor ang kina usap ko and I learned, pwede naman pala. So I paid the half in Cash and I paid the rest thru my CC in Installment for 12 mons. Kaya, better inquire with the ones knowledgeable.😊

Hi Joshua! Pag gamit ang CC sa pag purchase ng any item, wala kang ibibigay na down payment kasi lahat deducted mula sa Credit Limit mo. Kung sakaling kulang ang CL mo, pwedeng i-cash yong kulang basta ok kay merchant.

If we think we were charged of an amount we didn't spend, kailangan with evidence and let the bank know para makagawa ng report regarding your case. Try to see, baka may subscriptuon ka sa Google Play/Apple store. Or baka yong AF mo na yang na charge sa'yo. Sa mobile App, you can see all the activities done w/regards to your CC spending.

Yong installment, Babayaran ng monthly sa Bangko yong nagamit mong pinambili ng item. Ang siste, kakausapin muna si Merchant kung pwedeng bilhin ang isang gadget halimbawa, at babayaran sa Bangko ng installment, sila kasi ang mag process, hindi si Bangko.
