Hi Rui, claimed is 11 seconds so I think yours may have been mapped? I’ve been contacted by lots of people, some claiming vw was too fast, some claiming bmw was too slow, and now yourself claiming the Audi was too slow.. I tend to find people always think there cars are quicker than they are! Think it’s a man thing..

Remember theres three men in the car too. The added 150+KG makes a big difference

Adam Tuplin Combined? Or just motorway. Could do 65mpg just cruising at 60mph, but no way on combined consumption, you guys sure you’re looking at the right numbers

@@bengenovese6591 Have you checked tire pressures? Also what mode are you driving in? How hard do you accelerate? Do you drive in cities/stop start traffic? where are you based, what temps are you driving in? Is it always wet? How many miles has your car done, is it brand new? All will have an effect on mpg.

How could he have done it more justice? Auto gearbox 🤷‍♂️😂 Not exactly a scientific test but all cars were tested on the same road under the same conditions.

@@CarThought the car has a tested 0 to 60 of 6.8 I don't think BMW were lying...

Yes it was in sport, manual shifting is a bit of a gimmick to make the driver feel more involved. The car knows the most efficient point to change gear, particularly in a straight line, on a track it might be different as the driver can see what corners are coming up, but all of this is moot in a drag race. Not to mention Dave is a very good driver..! You can watch him on track in another of my videos if you don’t agree. The result was the result 🤷‍♂️ and the BMW had more go’s than either of the other 2 cars, at the end of the day it’s all just a bit of fun 👍
