What would be a like for like replacement for a 29cdi classic? This boiler is a beast and has not given me 1 day of issues since buying in 2013! Also, Is the aluminium heat exchange a problem with re to reliability on the 4000?
The like for like replacement would be the Worcester Bosch 8000 range. However, on the subject of the heat exchanger, the data does show that over the lifetime of the product, a stainless steel heat exchanger is more robust and will stay more efficient for longer. It may be worth looking at the Viessmann 100 range of combi boilers as they would be a direct replacement for your current boiler, whilst also giving you the benefit of a stainless steel heat exchanger and 10 year parts and labour warranty.
Hi Imran, thanks for your comment! We've installed a lot of 4000s and we haven't seen any issues in terms of leaking. Of course, if there was an issue, we would send an engineer out to you imminently. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Heatable
Absolute rubbish boilers with their new shells !! 50kW for hot water wth! Viessmann 111 max 35kW required and produces better hot water flow rate. The gas operation pressure cannot reach 14mb without making the installation commercial. That’s a joke.
Thanks for your comment Jas. We've done a review of the brand new Viessmann 111. Have you had the chance to have a look? - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HTHeQJQE4Gg.html
