There's a lot the Heat need for Game 7: Jimmy's shot to be consistent, Bam to be aggressive, Lowry and Strus to make their shots, Oladipo and the bench to step up. Being at home, I expect that from them.

If they can’t get it done, Pat & the brass need to do a lot of soul searching of what direction they need to take with this team because you can’t run it back as it’s currently constructed, you have to make changes if you can! The Bucks, Hawks, Bulls, & lastly this Celtics team aren’t going anywhere!

Jimmy Butler is an Anime MC: -Illegitimate son of *THE* NBA legend whose legitimate heirs never made it in the NBA. -Grew up in a tough environment, got in a lot of trouble, but found passion in basketball -Worked hard to get in the NBA and continues to work his way up the ladder. -Passed around to other teams and developed a bad rep due to his intense alpha dog mentality, despite improving all the teams he’s been on. -Made it to the Finals but lost and people never gave him credit -Continues to be overlooked as if there’s a *Passive MC aura* where fans just subconsciously underestimate, brush aside Jimmy’s accomplishments and abilities. Well… This one fan here will no longer overlook Jimmy Butler.

I'm surprised the Celtics defeated the Bucks. The fact that they did makes them oh so dangerous. However, Miami looks like they are on the warpath and I see Jimmy getting into the zone. If Jimmy's game doesn't evoke Kobe or MJ, AKA big baller, then Celtics defence will keep Miami out of range. Right now, Jimmy is my favourite active player to watch besides Luka.

Yeah I paid $450 for section 300 seats (not the worst seats). The STANDING ROW was $350 each, closer seats were about $800 and court side was over $40,000 each!!!

But don’t forget we blow them out the first game it was over early, and in game 3 before Jimmy was hurt we were up 20+. Igame 5 it was close the first half and 3rd quarter, the Celtics just made more open shots while we were just bricking.

This. I think an underrated reason for Heat's success Game 6 was that Butler was shooting surprisingly well from 3, since the Celtics' defensive scheme planned on living with him taking those shots. If he can't replicate similar 3-point success Game 7, Heat's gonna get suffocated on defence again.

It shouldn't be solely on Jimmy to perform when he's injured. The heat should instead be on Bam. He's their second best player and he scored over 20 once this entire series. That's just not acceptable. Game 7 needs both of them to go off if they want to win. Overall, the Celtics looked like the better team but Jimmy is built different.

Thanks coach for the video! As your video shows, he was definitely affected by an injured knee! It was so frustrating to hear the commentators claim that an injury shouldn't matter, they're on the court, they need to play well. What kind of bs is that?! Hell, the player might want to play, but in certain circumstances it might even be detrimental to the team to play an injured player (or a player not at full-capacity).

The onus shouldn't be on Butler. It should be on Bam Adebayo. He is way too passive. He only had SIX points while Butler was turning into prime Jordan. Miami need scoring from Herro, Lowry and Dipo as well.

2 things I want to say: 1. Heard someone on TV said he saw MJ in Jimmy Butler (after game 1 perhaps?), I felt like I had to agree then. After game 6, I had to agree more. 2. regarding coach Nick's comment on how Jimmy Butler shot, I just realized that I was shooting like that too when I was playing (retired now lol). But my shots were quite OK back in my high school days, at least I was the leading scorer on my team. I guess my point is that I don't see any problem when a player shoots like how Jimmy did in those clips...

Newer shot forms like steph demonstrate a one motion shot is much more consistent, especially when one is tired. Players like Jimmy and kobe and MJ are good at it but those are clearly the elite of elite. Westbrook is a prime modern example that also is two motion but is wildly inconsistent. Can someone shoot two motion well, yes. But at times its more inconsistent if something is out of timing. Im personally a two motion shooter, and i struggle from 3 range but im good with midrange and post play bc i can elevate and get shots over defenders. However if im gassed from playing defense on a quick offensive player then my normal jumps on my shot leave me short. I have to make adjustments frequently for what defenders are doing or how im doing from playing defense. 1 motion shots dont need to worry about that consistency as much. Just get space, be balanced and get the shot up.
