@@laurenstewart5707 yeah I agree, the bag is probably meant for smaller dogs. I think this is more a consumer issue for not having checked the measurements of the bag tbh
I have the amazon one and it's the best. I use it for my cat and he's a very dramatic boy when we go to the vet but he feels pretty safe and comfortable in it. The most important thing is the carrying strap is wide enough that it doesn't hurt my fingers because he's such a chonker.
@☕no. As a lifelong cat owner currently with three very spoiled boys, getting their nails stuck in the mesh is something you may have to train them out of. Just like dogs, cats have to be trained for a lot of things, and being in a carrier is very much one of them. All my cats travel in bags with mesh sides and fronts and never get their claws stuck at all~
same, i have a similar bag from amazon, and all the cats really enjoy it. it’s just big enough for a 15 lb cat, and has plenty of room for toys and a blanket fort for a scared kitten.
You may need a soft sided carrier for flying but I suggest that you get a hard sided carrier for everything else. My husband once witnessed a dog attack viciously a cat in the vet waiting room through its soft sided carrier, he said the noise the cat made still haunts him. We only use hard carriers for our cats’ safety. We’ve driven cross country 4 times now with cats and they were always comfy and safe in their hard carriers. A hard carrier can also be wedged between the front and back seats and is likely to stay put in most automotive accidents which is safer for the pet and the humans.
We have a bag that folds down flat once you take the bottom out but my dog loves it so much we keep it up for him in the kitchen. He has a regular bed in the living room too and he alternates between them 😂
That's actually a good way for them to feel comfortable when you have to travel or transport them. They are used to the carrier already. The bag I use for my cat is always out and he also uses it as a bed, both when we're at home and away. True sign of a comfortable animal. :)
okay here me out the cheapest one is the best. the last one doesnt have any mesh or ventilation it looks like. I have a frenchie and we were experimenting with carriers and he would be huffing and puffing for being to hot so the cheapest one has that needed ventilation and the second one is just a no.
my family has the first one just for our cat when we go on road trips but he never actually stays in it because he gets to roam around the backseat area and the only times he gets in it is to take naps 😂❤
I actually got the first one for my cat 😂 he’s never been on an air plane but he needed a comfy place to be for a 12 hour road trip when we moved. I actually did put a puppy pad in the bottom and it did well! He had 2 accidents and this was a life saver. When the car was moving he stayed in the bag but when we stopped, I would let him out to use his litter box that we had in the back of our suv.
I don't have pets nor ever had any so i can only imagine the third one is best for those who travel long and frequently with their pets. Pockets are always ALWAYS a plus on anything, dresses, pet carriers, and all ☺️
Definitely the last one for flights/traveling, and the first for easy trips, vet, groomers, anywhere like that. The middle one is crap, it has no support and is too expensive for such poor quality.
The second bag is such trash it like caves in. But the first and last ones are great I mean even the cheap one is still good quality but the last one looked so fancy and cool😊
