Good morning, with compliments. My actual equipment is Canon 600d (t3i) and Panasonic handycam hc-v770 (420 g). I am thinking about buying Crane 2, relying on 100g Zhiyun counterweghts for the handycam ()two or three of them). I am inclined to Crane 2 because of the improved quality, is it a good choice? Should I buy a new camera it would be Sony as6500 or Sony a7riii. Thank you in advance Francesco, Italy

I wanted to buy the Crane V2, but doesn't it work with Pentax DSLR? (K3). I can't find any control cable, and not even Zhiyun USA knows if it works?! I also have a Panasonic camcorder, both are with a mini and not micro hdmi. Can I just buy a mini to micro cable?

Hi Oz, thanks for your stopping by, if you usually use the heavy setup more, we suggest you use the Crane 2, and soon, some features on Crane Plus will also be applied to Crane 2.

I'm a big fan. I purchased the V1, V2, and now I own the Crane 2. I use them every day for my work! The 2 would be mostly perfect if it also had follow focus for Sony.

i see the follow focus only works for Canon right now. @4:09 you say Zhiyun will develop a mechanical follow focus to extend its reach to more cameras, like Sony and Panasonic. Will this be a firmware update? or will i have to buy a different version of the Crane. Crane-2-vSony?

A mechanical follow-focus is just that, mechanical. It's not electronic, so it won't be a firmware update; something you'll have to buy. Right now Sony and Panasonic don't even allow electronic focusing so a firmware update from Zhiyun won't do anything it seems.

Have you tried using the zhiyun crane v2 with a gopro? I am just wondering if this could be used for the gopro hero 5? I am asking because I am planning to use it also with canon 80d and I would want to buy 1 if its possible to cut expenses. Thank you.

Szkotu Szkocki, Zhiyun will soon release a mechanical follow focus control part to feature pull focus on other main camera brands too. But i can't make sure about that it must be available on Panasonic, it's also depends on your lens.

TheInfinite66，actually if you don't mount any other cameras, Crane V2 is better for a6500.It's designed primarily for mirrorless cameras.

Hi Media Dragon Chile, thanks for your comment, if you no need to use other heavier setup, the Crane V2 is enough. If you will use heavier camera later, you'd better choose Crane 2.
