Great vid man just wanted to add too for those looking into one the extra glove compartment in G35 is where the DVD storage goes so if you get a G35 with the navigation package that space will be filled. Also surprised you didn't mention other big advantage the G35 has over the 350 being the fact it has AWD as an option which for me was why I chose it over the 350.
When you said you can't open the box on the 350z (I'm not trying to me annoying, I just wanna let you know) pull the passenger seat down and there is the glove box behind it, sorry to be annoying. Loved the vid tho
As a bachelor, I would get the G35. It's a classier looking vehicle, and when I get groceries on my way home, I wanna throw it in the back seat, drive home, and not worry about some trunk nonsense. I do love convertibles, but the combination of better looks, better luxury, and a back seat? G35 with the Brembo package for the win!
I wonder what it would they would look like if they molded together the cars and used designs off each. Because I can’t choose what one they both good lookin in their own ways.
G35 Gang would not change it or sell it for nothing my car was a steal y baught it for 1100 the guy thaught the valves where out but the coil packs where backwords whas any easy fix (I thought where se valves to)
I bought the z because i feel like its flexibility on the road is better. Also like the acceleration a bit more on my z these were things i took into place when making my decision.. #zociety
The 350z is the 19yr olds car. The G35 is for the 30yr old family man who wants a sports car. My wife would have flipped out if I bought a Z, but she didn't when I pulled up in the G35
That depends, are you married? If so get a G, if not then get a Z, personally though I think the G35 coupe looks better than any q60, 350, 370. Infacte the G35C looks better than the G37. The only car they make in my opinion that looks better than a G35 is the R35. Plus 350zs suffer from the drift tax and G35s are still under 5k. I bought mine for 2500 and it's amazing. Big comfy seats, nice body n wheels, g37 wheels. And hub adapters 30mm. The car looks good. I don't know how else to sell the G to ya.
Jaysol 8484 I totally agree that’s why for my first car idk which one to choose I like the z bc the 2009 350Z has 307 horsepower but the g35 has a nice shape to it and has more room and the interior
I love the g35 as a daily driver. It’s been a blast having practicality and still being able to have fun driving. However if I was gonna build a track car would definitely choose the 350z
It all comes down to what you want, need and looks I guess. Criteria also might be different depending on where you are. Here in Japan, Skyline Coupe CPV35 (slightly better RHD G35 with a bit more power) and 350Z (Fairlady Z Z33) cost the same, with 350Z often being even cheaper (because 2 seater). But overall, both cars are insanely cheap here ( because tax on engine size and weight tax will eat you alive, gas isn't exactly cheap either, and maintenance is expensive too). So the price is definitely not determining factor then, but what is? Well.. V(G)35: Longer wheelbase (more stable on higher speeds, better for highway, better for drift), more seats (4), slightly more space , better interior although still not up to expectations for such car but it's a nice place to be in, better and more complete, with premium feel compared to 350z, better sound insulation, more equipment usually, 5x better looking rear end (but can vary from person to person) slightly more common so cheaper parts, overall a bit more complete car. 350Z: Shorter wheelbase (a bit more jumpy, nervous, better for autocross and general grip stuff), lighter (so faster, better stopping power, 0.0000000001% better on fuel), way better front end even though stock isn't much, but V(G)35 is quite a challenge to make it "work", sportier chassis, probably "turns few more heads" if you're going for that... I'm into drift and use / daily drive car as much as possible so I went with Skyline. 350Z was a consideration, and almost bought one, but can't go over that rear end + above mentioned reasons. That's not to say that 350Z isn't a good car, but the way I see it it's slightly undefined sports car, while V(G)35 is firmly defined luxury sports coupe. Edit: Forgot to mention that V(G)35: will always sound better and a bit deeper due to longer exhaust.
@@Lonecisco same Im looking for my first car, honestly in my opinion I will go for the one that has the best price, looks more stock, lower mileage, and doesn’t have major problems
I have an 06 g35. Originally I wanted and searched for a 350z. I decided to go with the g35 because insurance is cheaper, extra space and the "premium" features like heated seats, Bose audio, GPS, dual climate control. I think the g35 is more "low key"
I was in the market for a 350; drove all the way to Tampa to test one I really liked. Test drove it, wasn’t as impressed as I thought. The dealer had three G35’s on the lot, and that’s when I truly discovered them and it was over after that. Went in the market for a G and found an awesome one in Raleigh. That was 10 years ago and I still have it. G all the way!
@@vxsr33 because I wasn’t buying the car solely on performance, if that were the case and I wanted a faster car I would have bought a G37s or corvette. The G and Z are the same engine and chasis but I found the Z cramped, the headroom sucked, the doors feel way too high and the ride felt stiffer, I found the G a lot more comfortable to drive. Then the styling to me was night and day. I found the interior and exterior on the G way nicer for relatively the same performance so I went with the G and I’m glad I did.
If u get a 350z... get a manual hr 07-08 its not worth building a de unless you want to dump mad money into it and you can swap some parts between the 370z if u have a hr, my big homie saved me because he owned 3 de's before a hr so, i listened and got a 08 hr with 60k miles on it and plan on boosting in a year unless this rona shit doesnt go away
i wanted a 350z but when this guy listed all the things u dont have in the interior im like this thing SUCKS,also how imma fuck with no backseat😭g35 come here😂
G35 hands down. But I’m a Luxor /power guy and aslo prefer trucks tbh but the g35 to me is the perfect blend of everything you want from a car. I grew up driving Lincoln and tbh I would prefer my 03 town car but still the 350z looks girly and has zero sophistication
I went with a 2008 g35 sedan cuz I needed some practicality but also that the 07 and 08 g35 interior is much nicer than the ones in the old g's and 350z's
350 Z is my choice. I like the 350 over the G35 because of Nissans juggernaut "Z'' line history, aggressive & sporty body style, and potential power upgrades.
Got a 04 g35X......the awd, TAKE THAT 350Z OWNERS .......till 75 mph when they catch up lmaoooo. And yes, i had to change the intake manifold gasket and piston grommets after purchase, damn oils suckers.
swizzy yeah that’s facts in most areas, just save and be patient to get what you truly want cause in the end you won’t be completely happy if it isn’t what you really wanted
350z looks way cooler and if you go to need for speed unbound they put the G35 as regular traffic can’t even pick it to race so that says a lot on its own to be honest I always saw the G35 as that too just normal traffic there literally in every corner
yea it doesn't have bluetooth but there is this device that lets you play music through bluetooth that you connect through the cigarette lighter. Its very useful.
I currently have 3 g35's(06 coupe m/t 04 sedan m/t 08 sedan auto) and always preferred the g's until i bought a z (05 m/t) too, i love the g for the looks and interior and the z's just plain simplicity
@@BeDistinct look up my ig sessomsjr.james i just finished a starlight headliner for my z and custom head lights for my g35 coupe maybe something you would lik and would make a video on it lol ppl always ask me to do videos or customize their car but its jus a hobby but if u decide u wana do a starlight headliner or sumn just hmu if u need pointers or sumn
Got g35 2006, 116k km Automatic, insurance 3million with 300 comprehensive 300 collision im new driver so 0 discount per month paying 350CAD dollar for 1 year plan. Month to month insurance is 430 dollars. Third party insurance 250k coverage is 270cad a month
Hey bro! I just wanna say I’ve been watching your videos for a little while and I’m planning to get a G35 after quarantine is over because of some of your videos! Also I live in Sacramento too so maybe we could meet up sometime and drive!
I like the g35 bcus i own one b4 but gotta be honest.when I got my Z I was like 😍.i like the aesthetics of the z better.a lot more curves 🥵 and the interior feels like I’m on a spaceship 🚀
Hmmm, which to choose. Exterior: G35 shape looks better to me. Plus: side window in the backseats are similar to my dream car GT-R R35. Tail lights have this round design inside, which also referrers to all the Nissan Skyline of the R-series. Interior: the round gauges are pretty nice, add some sport to the coupe. The two-plus-two layout is cool and adds some more space and usability. As I prefer G35 exterior, the 350Z interior would not match. So again I would go for G35. Performance: Important characteristic, I consider to use it for high speed road-trips, not as a daily drive. The 350Z is definitely quicker in acceleration and more handy. Nevertheless: G35 and tune the engine to 400+ hp and let the fun begin.
I'd say 350z for track duty, though I've seen some G35's do pretty good on track. I plan on going into time trials in a year or two, and don't see any g's... the z seems to do quite well.
Ngl I was kinda shocked when he said 350zs were a little higher priced I look at them for sale all the time and I really thought the z would be cheaper lol
I mean it’s all preference, they basically have the same engine and for the most part, both cars have the same look on the body but Infiniti is just a “luxury” extension of Nissan. Personally I own an 04 g35 coupe and my best friend owns an 02 350z. If you want a good track car I’d say to lean to the Z. If you want a more luxurious interior with a few less hp to lean to the g. Of course power and other performance aspects can be added to both cars and they’re both capable of becoming beasts on the road if done right, but as I said in the beginning “it all comes down to preference”.
