When is it better to hit a lob vs attempt a passing shot if the opponent is right at the net?

The closer they are to the net, the more efficient a lob will be. Also depends on where you stand and if you stand properly.

@@stevenjm12 Not really, there are too many variables to take into account. E.g. If your opponent will have to Stare directly into the sun, then the lob gains a little effectiveness. If he already expects it (maybe you already did), then don't.
