Great video, just to add some personal experience..i have a gardiner pole with the attachment inside the pole for the brush/gooseneck and i use a univalve..had it for 3 years and never had it disconnect there, because they have the little red attachment to the hose that goes into the john guest fitting it keeps it firmly in place, so nothing to worry about! Infact i have one at the bottom of the pole aswell so that if hose splits where it bends i dont have to cut too much hose away.. :)

The CLX 4 may be my next purchace🤔 We had my Niece round one time and I was sorting out my van and doing some invoices and she said 'why do you need all this equipment, you only clean windows' and I thought to be fair you've got a point!!😀 Kids....🙄😆

No worries glad you got some. Im going to start putting some videos on soon just cant find the time at the moment so busy ive made my own diesel hot water system works great and ive also made a water softner makes a real difference when making the pure water its lowered my tds coming out on the double 40/40 system which i put together to recoup some of the waste water, used to get three litres a min and 6 waste now its the other way round 6 pure 3 waste Love the vids

Gardiner poles all day long, feel they’re still the pole to beat by far...!! Use the extreme , A Fantastic pole, use 22, 25 and 35. 22 a great all rounder. Thanks again for all the the videos, seems like your new full time job 😀👍

@@aemackintosh Yes they are. Bought the ova8 and broke on me twice!! They where very good though and refunded me. Gardiner have 4 poles and no problems at all. “They do what they say will do”. Ps: be good to get your fed back of the water works reel say in 6 months. My concern is it’s belt driven!!

To think all we used to need was a bucket a bag of scrims and ladders..!! I use the CLX 4 on all my Bungalows, works a treat 👌🏼

Have any of the Ova8 swivel head screws come undone on you yet? The first one I used, did. The nut dropped off and was lost, so (without thinking) I bought another swivel head attachment from a local supplier. Later, I realized I could have just taken the screw to a hardware supplier and found a nut that fits (much cheaper). Bit slow I guess. I carry around a set of Allen Keys (Hex Keys UK) now. Just give it a tighten up every now and then. Problem fixed.

Yes! Same. I give it a little tweak with an Allen key every so often. I keep meaning to pick up some self tapping nuts for it so it won’t keep coming loose.😉👍🏼

I have a lot of customers who scratched their windows with the green abrasive part of the dish washing yellow sponges. Then, it looks like all these sponges don't have the same abrasive green materials. Looks like some scratch the glass, some don't.

Ash I am a traditional cleaner but I have a Ova 8 pole I use for my fascias and what not. Ive just purchased a bigboy back pack and want to use the Ova 8 pole every now and again for 3 rd storey windows and especial leaded windows above porches I cant climb on in the winter my question is what is the flock brush your using in the vid with the ova 8 attachment on as id like to purchase one as you state in a few of your vids that they are good for leaded windows thank in advance keep up the good work and informative vids

I like the look of the Ova8, noice! Do you use Gardiner's brushes all the time? Been using an xline, great brush! Bit more purchase on the glass than the Gardiner's dupont. Keep em coming Ash! 😜

@@aemackintosh About which X-line brush are you speaking ? They have an entire range : www.xline-systems.co.uk/xline-shop/wfp-brushes But anyway, i'm using hot pure water and it looks like they don't have hard bristles brushes for hot water use.

They have some great looking DuPont bristle brushes. I like the look of their square brushes, but I don’t think they would be any good with hot water.😬👎🏼

I usually use a brush with flocked bristles from Gardiner for cleaning fascias.😃👍🏼

Hi bud where do you get the hose fitting protector on your hi viz hose on hose reel. Can't find them anywhere. Can you send us a link to where they sell them. you did tell me but couldn't find one. Do they fit 6mm hose. Cheers boss

What size hose do you need to connect to the brush head mate. I was planning on using an 8mm hose, would that fit on to the connector an the brush head ?? Cheers Ash ✌

Window cleaners usually use 8mm hose on the reel from the van and 5mm hose up the pole to the brush head.😃👍🏼

I used a lot bronze wool no for much longer when put it on T bar taken off starts the problem you can see all whites gone i decided using on T bars white pads brilliant green colour it's to hard on windows white ones do a better job compare that bronze specially on windows with calcium try Ahley you can see a better results i said in one of your videos about it

Had to finish up early yesterday Ash, thought it was my power being low, but checked out everything and all seemed fine, so today I unwinded the hose reel and around 2 meters neat the reel looked a bit kinked but not collapsed, I cut off 2 meters and reconnected all, so all good again. I'm using the same 6mm hi vis hose and was off the opinion that this wouldn't happen, has this ever happened to anyone else

The DuPont brush is what I use for my regular cleans. The bristles are kind of softer but clean better on regular cleans. It’s great.😃👍🏼

I’m sure I’ve seen in other videos that you make water in van rather than in a separate tank is that right? Iv got a diy set up by pure freedom and I’m looking to get an ro system installed as well but not sure how to go about it yet 👍

Be careful with Those Green pads . They will scratch Glass !

@@aemackintosh I'm also really worried that it will scratch the glass like the green abrasive materiel you can find on some sponges. I would avoid this kind of abrasive for sure. I'm interested to find the same material as the Gardiner white nylon pads but in rolls. Any idea where to find this ?
