Looks like a great product! Don't buy the Vosentech smoke machine, mine lasted 3 months, leaked, never worked again. Errored out with a blinking light. $300 down the drain. Great to see better options! I need to buy one.
Just got the SmokeGENIE and love it! Now, I want the SmokeNINJA too! I'm working on an E-Skooter review and just finished the thumbnail for it using the SmokeGENIE and can't wait for people to see it! Keep up the great work and I wish you a lot of success!!!
Creating a more affordable pro-sumer option was absolutely GENIUS! You guys will unlock a whole other market that wanted access to your fantastic product, but couldn’t swing the price. Cheers to your success and continued innovation 🎉
Nice. This definitely addresses the lower budget units in the market today. As a longtime product reviewer, PMI would definitely be the standard that I would test any other unit against.
Still some EARLYBIRD packages left on Kickstarter! www.kickstarter.com/projects/pmigear/smokeninja-next-gen-portable-smoke-machine-for-photography As a summary, Here is a detailed Breakdown of the differences! -Continuous output Genie is very much designed to be fit for endurance performance on set. It can run continuously without pause for over 10 minutes. This is very necessary when you need to do an intense shoot of multiple takes back to back. For the Ninja, it has a continuous output of up to 1 minute, which is enough for entry level creators who doesn't need that intensity! -Large scale coverage Based on the Endurance performance of the Genie, it is much easier for the genie to cover a huge area of 2000+ square feet space. For the Ninja, it's best for small indoor studios. That's why if you intend to make a lot of cinematic Haze, even though the Smoke of the Ninja will turn into a fine haze, we think Genie will be much better for Quickly hazing up a large room. -3 Automatic Presets vs 100 Manual Toggles The Ninja is all about being intuitive, so we have all the modes as Presets. The control is more in the shooter's "sleight of hand", the way you would shape smoke like a paintbrush. The Genie is all about precision, it has 10 levels of smoke and wind power, that allows the user to have really high precision when it comes to how much smoke output needs to be released by the machine. So if you are into high precision, Genie is for you!
Actually the SmokeNINJA can make Haze! It should fill a 50sq metre studio with no problems. Simply set it to fog mode, spray 20-30 seconds, and have it set for a minute. The haze will hang for a very long time! As for the continuous output of the Genie, it can go up to 10 minutes without any breaks in between. Does anyone want to see an uncut video of that?
The one issue with the Ninja that I havent seen PMI address is that once you used up the 1 min time limit on the Ninja's Fog Mode, the Ninja would stop the device to prevent coil burning. But how long is that down time is what I dont hear PMI addressing? How long is the cool down time for the Ninja to be back up for usage again after the 1 min limit kicks in? 1 min 3 min 5 min or 10 min? Because if it takes forever for the Ninja's health bar to go back up to full for the next use than I would rather stay with the Genie.
@@zerooverzero Yes 100% correct! for every second of cooldown, you gain 1 second. You can choose to stop at anytime during the minute and start again whenever during the cooldown! If you used up the ENTIRE 60 seconds without stopping, the ninja will give a hard timeout of 3 seconds. But afterwards, the same cooldown process continues! It will be super intuitive once you use it!
Hi, I'm a buyer from South Korea using SmokeGENIE. Thank you so much for the great video. I am mainly using the product for particle generation in my experiments. I would like to know the particle diameter of the smoke produced when using the 120ml cloud formula. I would really appreciate your response. Have a nice day.
The 3 preset modes on the Ninja are Fog, Steam and Dry-ice; each of these fog types has a specific volume that is tuned to the best effect! So if you want to further control the smoke output, you can experiment with the nozzles and work from there!
Hey thanks for asking! We have a smart cooldown system, where every second of rest gains 1 second of Spray time! so resting the machine for 10 seconds will gain 10 seconds of burst, so on. Hope this makes sense!
Yes! The SmokeNINJA can make Haze! It should fill a 50sq metre studio with no problems. Simply set it to fog mode, spray 20-30 seconds, and have it set for a minute. The haze will hang for a very long time!
So the ninja cam only do up to 1 minute bursts. How soon after the 1 minute burst can it go again and how much minutes/hours of smoke liquid per refill?
