Very helpful. Thank you. I've just found the case that the bike mechanic put them back in the wrong places and shifting has become sloppy. Already swapped them and the issue solved.

Hi, thanks for your question and apologies for not getting back to you sooner (summer holiday duties). The guide pulley and tension pulley are specifically positioned based on the geometry of the derailleur, the angles at which the chain travels, and the sizes of the cogs on the cassette. Switching their positions could result in improper chain alignment, poor shifting, increased chain wear, and even potential damage to the components.
