Which Red Bezel Tudor Black Bay? 

Got the call today. Went down to the AD and purchased the watch on the Jubilee. It's a stunner. Wish they'd have stayed with the 22 mm and 50 mm lugs. That said, they'll sell way more in this new configuration. Essentially, it's a slightly larger BB 58 with better specs and a better bracelet.

I really like the snowflake second hand.

At last someone notices all the differences. I measured the new one as a whole mm less across the bezel. If the crystal is 1mm smaller then either the bezel is, or the bezel track is bigger? Well done for noticing it’s 21mm lug width. Most people (including Tudor HQ and Boutiques) are clueless to watches lug widths. You are the first reviewer that I have seen mention it.

Thanks for a great intro look at these two pieces. I have the original burgundy model from 2012, so I'm a big fan of this watch. I am considering the new release; I like the METAS certification, the revised dimensions, and the Oyster-like bracelets. They are super-smooth on the inner side.

Thank you very much for the overview. Am a total Rolex fanboy and do not have a Tudor in the collection. This watch on the “not jubilee” has totally won me over. Called my ad during w&w and put my name in the hat. Seems like they are starting to trickle in to the market

Wish they'd have kept the 22 mm lug width and the 50 mm lug to lug. It would make the case look far thinner. Also, it would've been better for large wristed customers. Tudor has plenty of small offerings already, which is a good thing.

There is a reason the previous gen looks more matt on the dial, that is because it is. The new Black Bay has a sunburst dial now.

I was ok with the old snowflake seconds hand, but overall I like what they did width the dimensions! Now it’s very similar to the sub41! Brad, when you have an opportunity….. would you do a comparison with the new 54, BB metas vs Rolex Sub 41? Please!

Have the old, but would do the new, if I hadn’t just perched the 58 heritage.

The new model is visually smaller, should be more comfortable to wear

Question: WHY use an aluminum bezel insert, when they could have used a higher quality ceramic bezel insert? (especially, since this is such a prominent feature of this watch) Thanks!

Thanks for the review! Just to be clear...all of the documentation from Tudor and other reviews state the new Black Bay lug width to be 22mm and you are saying it is not? This is an important difference as I have OEM Tudor nato straps from the two previous models that I intended on reusing, but now it appears they will not fit either the new lug width or lug to lug. Any way you can confirm by trying to put the nato on the new model as I am also curious to know if the built-in spring bars will be too far apart and produce a gap.

Do you think I should buy the old black bay 41 heritage in black or wait until they come out with the new Black Bay Heritage in black?

Hi, is there any difference about bezel tones? The new One’s bezel looked more clearer red to me. The tone of the old version was slightly pinkish

Hi Brent, quick question. I see these watches you review have no stickers for protection. Also customers trying them on. Will you be selling these watches as new?

Does the t fit bracelet on the new 41 fit the older 41 models like the chrono and gmt? Asking for a friend 😂

Prefer the older coffee dial but the dimensions are a deal breaker on the older one for me.... Ugh... the rivets........Lollipop, boooo...

The only spoiler for me on the new BB41 is the lollipop second hand.
