Thanks so much for your video. I use the M43x with a Panny GH5 for video...real happy with it. Reason being, I have a bunch of Nikon vintage and not-so-vintage lenses. Your comments about stopping down to get sharper images was informative. To my understanding, the M2 Viltrox for Canon is a "version 2" adapter...which is a bit sharper...I don't think the sharper version is available for Nikon glass (sadly). I watched another video in which someone went through pretty rigorous testing of the M43x, M2 and Metabones adapters. He determined that the M2 was sharper than the M43x...and the M2 was about 5% softer than the Metabones (hardly worth spending the extra money for the Metabones). Anyway, great video sir!
Good video, can you tell me if i have the version for Nikon can i connect the sigma 18 35 1.8 Nikon without any problems or i have to to sth more? Cose when I connect the lens to my Lumix g80 the preview freezes and don't catch the focus
Hi, the viltrox nikon to micro four thirds speed booster doesn’t have electronic connection, meaning you can’t use auto focus lenses or lenses with electronic aperture control. You can only use fully manual lenses.
@@wandb_design I did some searching around and sadly I couldn’t find any nikon speedboosters that support electronic connection. I think the canon speedbooster and canon lenses is your best bet.
