Which Tool Do I Prefer to Interlock MY Locs With? *Pros + Cons*

The short answer? Yes, slightly..initially, because the hair is essentially being condensed with the knotting motion interlocking creates. However, the loc does end up filling out a bit more as time goes on and more shed hairs accumulate, just like with a retwist. Notice that after a retwist the roots are much thinner than the rest of the loc, but as time goes on and more of the shed hairs accumulate the loc fills out.
