I recently purchased an Animé T-shirt from Uniqlo, I'm a medium size guy, but I wear large in most of my clothes. But the T-shirt looks like an XL on me. I'm wondering if the sizing at Uniqlo is different from most other clothing stores ? I mean, is everything a size bigger than average clothing brands ? Where a size L is in fact an XL ?
A notable omission, which apart from being the cheapest option also happens to be my personal favourite, is the Uniqlo DRY Colour Crew Neck T-shirt, not to be confused with the DRY-EX T-shirt. The former reigns supreme in terms of fit and feel. At least for me.
I currently have 5 u crews sitting around on my wardrobe rn. trust me people, once you have one of these you'll never want to buy essential tshirts from anywhere else ever again!
In my opinion, Uniqlo Airsim Cotton t-shirt (normal/regular fit) is The Best WHITE Tee (yeah I just talk about white color only, and also not Uniqlo U Airism Cotton because that is oversize version), because it's so comfortable to wear, fit very well and most important thing is this white tee not too thick but also not too thin that you can feel a bit see through (yes I hate that white tee can see through), it's thick enough, just perfect white tee for me, I tried so many different brands and only happy with this.
Personally I love the last one, and I do own them in several different colours. I like it for its thickness and 100% cotton, good enough casual wear during summer.
My favorite is the Uniqlo U t-shirt too. I currently have it in 7 colors and plan to collect more 🤘🏻 Update: as of 3/14/2022 (Philippines) I currently own 15 colors of the Uniqlo U t-shirt 🥰
@@Bigbiceps301 hello! There is a specific Uniqlo U t-shirt for both men’s and women’s. As a transmaculine, buying from the men’s section is what I usually prefer doing
3 years later this video is still relevant and very useful to me, thanks Harry - informative and concise and a pleasure to watch, best fashion content on yt!
I have two uncontested winners. Im basically the same size as you at 186cm with medium being my true fit. I totally agree on "UNIQLO U AIRISM COTTON CREW NECK OVERSIZED FIT T-SHIRT" which is 53% Cotton, 30% Polyester, 17% Elastomultiester on comfort along with being oversized. But as a standard shortsleeve, the "MEN AIRISM COTTON CREW NECK T-SHIRT" 71% Cotton, 25% Polyester, 4% Elastane WINS BY A LANDSLIDE. I haven't tried the U T-shirt, but i don't doubt it for a second. An honorable mention is the +J 100% SUPIMA COTTON relaxed fit, as an oversized fit like the u airism, but with a thinner more breathable material like the airism cotton, even though it's just 100% cotton.
My favorites are currently the Supima Tee for daily wear and layering very comfortable and is a staple. Wait for sales and buy these over the Dry Packaged Tees the quality lasts much longer. I also just ordered Oversized AIRism Tees after trying a few in stores, a great standalone piece to wear with simple jewelry. I stay away from the normal U tees mostly because of the feel and comfort I find the Supima and AIRism far superior in comfort and everyday wear! Great video! Subscribed! Keep it up!
Thanks a lot mate. Completely agree with the comfort. The u tee is not the most comfortable but I do like the fit. Have a good weekend and welcome to the channel 🙏👊
The quality is the best. Really thick on most styles and only gets better when U wash it, H&M,Zara,Primark, topman can’t compete at all price or quality wise. Not just T-shirt’s but I have jeans shirts and tracksuits from Uniqlo 🔥
For me UniQlo is also my go-to, what I love about UniQlo is it’s quality and how cheap the price for it’s quality, the collabs is also diverse which I also love. I’d say 90% of my wardrobe is UniQlo🤣. AGAIN great video Harry!😎
This was soooo informative. I was hesitating between the supima, the U crew and U Airism but as you said, they all serve a different purpose. Still not sure though if I should pick a size down for the Airism as it looks a bit too oversize on the sleeves.
They have the regular fit airism without the oversized sleeves so maybe that will be a etter option for you. It’s an oversized fit so the size down will still have long sleeves but you will just have a shorter body. Glad the video helped you out
@@HarryHas Yeah I need to check body length wise if it fits me. The purpose of this tee is to be oversized so I will order my size and see how it goes. Thanks mate
I love your videos man. We do not share the same style (I'm more into workwear stuff) but I do still find your videos helpful, as I do shop a lot at Uniqlo because the basics are so good. The U crew neck is my go-to t-shirt - I really like the heavy feel and fits me perfectly, though I usually roll up the sleeves a bit. A suggestion though, maybe give the measurements in both inches and centimeters? I know anyone can just google it, but it'd make for a better viewing experience if you did. :)
U tee is the best one imo i have about 6 or 7 they look good and are comfortable good balance of everything to me i sometimes end up wearing one for 4 days straight
I have the Supima and U-Tee but I prefer the U-Tee because it’s heavyweight and really good quality, just bought one last week. Man, I was busy whole week because of my job and I hate it when I miss your videos. Awesome video and quality content as always 👌
Glad I watched this, I was set on a supima as another video I watched showed it in a very good light. However, this being more recent and their change to a wider neck has put me off. Looks like I’m gonna have to go with the U tee if I want that desired look without ridiculously long sleeves!
I need to order the U tee again. I do like the fit but I didn’t really like how thick it was, you mention that they’re a little thinner now so I might like them more. I just received the u over sized tee and I like the feel of them and length but I’d prefer a shorter sleeve... gonna give the U tee another shot.... I use the supima cotton tee as an under shirt and a sleeping/lounging shirt
@@Mechromey As a seasoned Uniqlo tee expert, he likes all tees and doesn't discriminate. All tees fit him perfectly, but only because he's a seasoned Uniqlo tee expert.
One of the best T-shirts, if not the best, that I own is the Alexander Wang x Uniqlo Tshirt. The fit is great and the material feels great in warmer weather. Big regret of mine that I just bought one and now they don't have them anymore.
Thanks for the review bro! I’m heading down to London this week. Was going to cop the supima ones but now seeing the oversized one. Think I might be going for that. I really like heavy t shirts, and blocky type feel to it as it hide my belly lol
I have a few pieces of the airism oversized tee, probably the most versatile tees in my wardrobe now. You could wear it just as it is, or tuck in the front and cuff the sleeves for a more polished and smart look, which accentuate your physique (shoulders especially) if you are an athlete or a gym goer. Now my fitted tees are just sleeping in my wardrobe lol.
Great video i have both the supima and U tee versions. The supima feels bit cheap idk id take the other U tee and airism over that all day of the week Thinking bout picking 3/4 airism ones for the summer now bc i love the oversized fit on them
Hey Harry, if you're looking to try out a few more good quality, decent price mark, basics I'd recommend: united athle, camber, goodwear, paa, moct and auralee. All the best with the channel
Cheers mate I’ll check them out. I know a couple on there and slightly more pricey. I also wear a lot of printing blanks which are always worth looking into and affordable.
i often hear the uniclo u airism is everyone´s favourite but i just tried it and i was sweating like crazy in it. Makes me think the high polyester part is not a really nice feature
Would like to see how the tees look when steamed/ironed, especially the sleeves. The oversized tees all bowed out a lot because they still had folds in the middle of the sleeves
You forgot the dry packaged t-shirt. I've tried them all and the dry packaged are the best (and somehow the least expensive) IMO. Highly recommend those!
The dry packaged t-shirt is criminally underrated. They are probably the most durable tees I've ever owned. I have one that I've worn for 3 years, and it seems it will never be out of shape.
The U tees from previous year were made in Vietnam, whereas the new U tees are made in Cambodia. The fit between them differs a lot and the Cambodian ones are much more roomy.
Hey I would like to take a minute and let you know I’ve seen many face routine video but watching your face routine video and following it my face looks like it is recovering from my past experiments Thankyou for your videos Would love to see a video on workout routine 👍🏼
i dont understand the positive comments on the regular oversized T (not the airism). It's SO SHORT and fits like a literal square. Maybe if you're tall it'll look just ok, but if you're not tall youll just look like a block. The airism oversized was so much better and fit as a true-to-size oversize. I sized up and it was an even better oversize fit without looking like I just bought a big shirt. I want to order a bunch more now
H&M t shirt has weird silhouette, small arm hole with long length body figure , it's not proportion 😅 have you notice there sizes, that's why i always prefer uniqlo
