Idea for a twist on this: What characters had the biggest effect (or potential of a big effect) from being taken in the realm itself? Characters like Vigo, Blight, Pinhead, Pyramid Head, and Nurse seem to have some significance in their near ability to escape the trials. Twins and Yun-Jin both seem to have unique emotions that power the entity. Stuff like that

I'm surprised you didn't mention that Felix's girlfriend was pregnant when he disappeared so his kid might grow up without a dad. I know it's not universe ending but considering how far Elodie went to try and find her parents and Felix himself was lured into the Fog by being shown his father, Felix's kid might follow a similar path to try and find him.

In the group of Jane, Yun Jin and Trickster you forgot Kate. Kate's also a singer who traveled the word. She performed in Japan and Germany as well. So Kate disappearing would impact her fans as well and people would wonder where that beloved songbird ended up.

When is the 1v1 series coming back

I’d say the RE universe would definitely have negative consequences, but I don’t think it would be doomed. There are still enough protagonists to take down umbrella like Rebecca, Barry and Ada. The ultimate downfall of umbrella and the person to expose it to the world was actually Yoko Suzuki from the Outbreak games. Ashley from RE4 may have got saved by Ada, just because she was on her own mission there but even if Ashley dies it’s probably not the worst thing to happen, no more “Leon HELP!!!!”.

Thing is for RE is that Leon & Jill were taken after the events if I remember so only the events of RE 4 and beyond (or starts at Code: Veronica) but the universe world still would be doomed but only from the Parasites

I think you missed the part about Felix and elodie battling the entity in general. Their loss and their parents deaths have a larger effect on the multiverse

I think that the prime universe is the one with the most original characters being taken and is the universe the entity belongs to, but it can also reach into other universes and pull a small number of people into the fog.

For Original killers, I can imagine a few potential legacy types for them after the Entity takes them: the Gacy type (where out of all Chicago serial killers, he's the most noted Boogyman, locally speaking, and he still has some people occasional copy him by playing "Killer Clown" pranks every so often. Part of the reason for that he had a unique type and also that not all his victims were ID'ed - whenever one of those victims gets ID'ed, it makes the news), the Dahmer type (where most people in that area choose to forget about him if they can), and the Bundy type (well known and might inspire some people while others are horrified but learn from said actions). My assumption is most go under either the Gacy type or Dahmer type. Through, I'm excluding Huntress and Plague from any of these previous types due to their killing choices: Huntress kills a lot of Nazis among other people - so she'll be considered as an anti-hero killer by most of Israel and/or anyone that hates Nazis by default; and in the case of the Plague, I think she'd considered similarly to Joan of Arc because she sacrificed herself and her followers to directly save the rest of her people. I think Russians might consider Huntress as a Gacy-type through due to her accidentally killing a lot of little girls via starvation for similar reasons (Russia would want to know who those girls were like how Chicago ID's Gacy victims sometimes and it making the news).

You still have to remember, Michael Myers can leave anytime he likes from the entities realm due to him not being obedient, being evil itself and not making a deal with the entitie itself.

Tbh there’s already multiple lament configurations throughout the world (as evidenced by Hellbound), so the cenobites get to leave the realm whenever someone solves the box, which is probably fairly infrequent but still.

So the odd thing that a lot of people overlooked about both the Nemesis and pyramid head is there isn't only one of them. We see multiple pyramids in the same room in silent Hill and because of how it's setting works it can most likely but poof another one into existence the second one is taken (heck there is even room to say that whatever is at the heart of silent Hill and whatever the entity are are related or mirrors or even silent Hill is the entity from its setting) Nemesis on the other hand is a one of a kind as in it was the one tasked with hunting down S.T.A.R.S. members but when it is dropped we see sevral other tanks with other version of both it and MR X, actually back in the first RE3 if your were going though the game fast enough you could run into 2 Nemesis at the same time (I can't remember if it ever ramped up to 3 at the same time)

I'm hella late but I just started playing the game. It's worth noting that there is a fan theory that Cheryl is directly connected to Silent Hill and that if and when she dies the town will cease being haunted the way that it is. Admittedly it's unclear if being abducted by emotion spider counts as death for this and even if it did Silent Hill's haunting isn't really a major factor in its own universe, but it's a weird thing to think about.

Counter theory: To motivate the survivors and some of the killers. The entity promises to keep their timelines from falling into chaos like Steve and Nancy or The stars members.

It would also be interesting if there is a chance for survivors or perhaps killers to return to their own universes as a final reward, for their services to the entity, but that would be challenging. Like when they are taken, they would spend a lot of time in the entities realm trying to escape. They would spend like hundreds, thousands of years trying to escape, and when they do escape, they wouldn't be sent back to their realities a thousands of years later, but only a few seconds, right after they were taken. Similarly to the third Harry Potter movie (spoilers) when Harry went back in time with that stopwatch, and returned to his right time a few seconds after he went back in time. If the survivors would be sent back, they would either tell their higher ups, of this realm's existence, so scientists can later study or try to understand it, or they would keep it in secret, because of how traumatizing it was there. Killers would be kinda disappointed, or some of them would even die. Just a fun little theory I had in mind.

The RE universe wouldn’t be necessarily doomed per se, you still have the characters from Outbreak, one of which (Yoko, who was an intern for Umbrella) testify against Umbrella along with a side character who was an employee. But it would definitely align with what you said about RE4. Great video as always!

I actually kinda get what affect the demogorgan being taken has and it’s a stretch through… Basically since this universe has essentially the mind flayer as the controller of earth he can in fact tell where each of his minions is sent to and as a result can possibly send more to the that dimension As the professor said big giant creatures can’t slip through wormholes but a tiny ant is just small enough to squeeze through even the smallest and quickest gate ways that open This explains how the Russians may have untamed a demo without the mind flayers help or how the mind flayer could just send more demos to the entity’s realm and cause utter chaos ALTHOUGH I’m employing the fact that the mind flayer can send an army there… Not that the army would win though lol Let’s be honest if you get beaten by one 12 year old a few teenagers with fireworks you stand no chance huge army or not against something that could teleport in your face at any time anywhere you are and personally punch you in the face 🤣

So when it comes to pinhead, there would be no change. See one of the addons is the iridescent lament configuration, this implies that the one in the realm like the second film is one of many. There is no the lament, simple a lament. It is the design, but a key. Nothing changes, people still are brought to the labyrinth.

I've seen some interesting theories about how pinhead serves Leviathan , which is kind of like hellraisers version of the DbD entity. The ferry goes the Leviathan sent the cube to the entities round potentially with a similar intent to disrupt things as pyramid Head disrupts the game

Silent hill section: both The executioner disappearing and Heather do have its own impact on it. Which it’s The executioner main purpose of existence is punished James thus when James accept its guilt and face it it’s his fault for murder his wife , the executioner no more. Surprisingly enough despise it is monstrosity, pyramid head is what reminded James of his humanity . According to the artist who made it. As for Heather without her exiting the order will have an struggle to located her because she is both either Alyssa and their long waited god, they will do anything to get her back, they even tore down the entity raleam to found her. There’s so many expectoration about the ending on her own story after the event of the game , because she will forever be stick in the cycle of life death and rebirth. If we put silent hill ending in right order, Alyssa were forced to give birth to their god, however she spilt her soul to prevent that. Into two part, good side and the dark side, which in the end they both marge in the end of the game, which she had no other choice to to give the birth of their god thus it was near end of the world, remember it was his weakest form. That why it was possible to banish it back into her. Which she give brith to Heather . Than the event of silent hill game. And after she slay the god (which it’s still in weakest form, she try to walk away but something stop her, that something is beneath the dying god. A child. As for her life after silent hill she made her peace and indeed successfully dodge and escape all the trap from the orders

I would argue that the Hellraiser universe is pretty unaffected by the absence of Pinhead. Sure, one less Cenobite, but there are plenty that can take his place and if nothing else, he was the most humane of the Cenobites, willing to spare those who opened the box if given reason (... Until HR3 I guess). Also even in the original novella and HR2 (Can't remember if it's mentioned in HR1) it's pretty clear that there are plenty of Lament Configurations out in the world, so the absence of one makes little difference Edit: The worst things he does that could not be done by another Cenobite are all in HR3 and by that point. You know. Hellraiser lore gets iffy

Actually you’re wrong about the Resident Evil Series. Yes if Leon Clarie Chris and Jill aren’t there it screws things over. But Umbrella gets exposed still, Yoko who’s an Umbrella employee Escapes Raccoon City with another female umbrella Scientist. Together not only do they expose Umbrella in a trail against it but they bring a cure for the T-Virus in the best ending possible. Something that Jill failed on (no offense to Jill) also with Nemsis being yanked away more people would survive the outbreak possibly.

I agree taking Pyramid head is a good change for Silent Hill but he is and always will be James Sunderland's monster. He only exists for him and is the only character who CAN see him. It's his manifestation of guilt and is personal to him. Only now does it make sense he is in the game lore wise because James was finally added into the game but other than that thing I disagree with this was a good video :)
