Both are scary to me bc The scared one might know something about your improvement and actually secretly honors you and he realizes that your improvement might have made you too powerful and fears his fate might be switched
Not really they might use your change to emotionally beat you, like they might know they can’t physically beat you so they trick you into killing your own family, wife and your own children by using illusions
Admire makes it seem that they would know what you are up to and could still know old weaknesses. Fear just seems like you have gone power mad and are now the villan.
The “admires your improvement” villain seems to not be intimidated by your improvement making him seem scarier. But personally I would be more scared if I’ve become so intimidating that the villain himself is terrified of me. It’s like I’ve become the very thing I’ve sworn to destroy.
No because the one who actually realises your strength is the one who is actually smart to fear your improvement the one who doesn’t fear is dumb and overconfident that’s what ends them like always
I think the scariest thing would be if the villain who admired your changes suddenly became afraid once they realized what you did. Then it would hit you just how far youve fallen
I prefer a villain who isn’t scared of or admiring the improvement, just states the fact, with no emotion, maybe a hint of excitement, and a droplet of fear
Left wants to see you improve because he wants more of a challenge. Right is scared of you and will probably try to use everything in their arsenal to take you and anyone out
The one that would fear your improvement would be fairly scarier, he'd have your improvement to fear. He'd have a reason to fight out of fear of which he'd be fighting way harder than the one that admires your improvement, calm and collected about the whole situation and looking forward to how strong you've gotten.
For everyone who doesn’t know where the audio it’s from this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jLe5khsxkwQ.html so this is based on my hero academia as it’s a line from the manga in which a hero that deku fought before he met again in which he one shotted him right away after he says that Deku responds with saying ‘I’m sorry times have changed.people were hurt. And other people have died the closer I am to Somone the more likely they are to be targeted if you know what’s best for you you’ll stay out of my way…
"You've improved since we last met, I admire how you push yourself without fear" He sighs "It's a shame that your strength will go to waste, because while you have pushed yourself so far... you haven't pushed enough"
But if we the villain has same stats and only difference is the reaction to hero growth it will be a very different outcome cause the one who admire will stay arrogant and underestimate the hero meanwhile, the villain who fear will be more wary about the hero strength and most likely to strike the hero faster
The villain saying "what have you done" mixed with admiring makes it feel like the hero has just done something evil and the villain admires it knowing this is the first step into the hero becoming a villain
Honestly, the villain that asks what has happened is the scariest. The villain has either, feared you to the point he wonders what has happened for this to happen to you or the villain is just tryna act as my therapist.
@@elnandmelendres3061the original is from ww1 photos with soldiers after battle and if they remember back in the trenches or remember all their friends or comrades get shot and die they will look Shocked or feared
The villain that fears your improvement is less scary, but fears what you've done to the world to get there. I feel the hero would then soon become the villain and the roles would swap with this relationship. While as the villain who admires your improvement is more scary and may want to learn and recruit you as an assistant or partner in crime, then betraying you possibly, or treating you like a son and you betray them.
You know superhero movies that when a villain laughs, and just activate his full potential and becoming a world threat? Yeah that one was like the one that admires the hero's improvements
Honestly i always feel sad for the villain cause i always end up being the villain in my friends group and im practically invisible in their eyes and at this point im about over it
Once a villain admires the hero, it shows major improvement to their rivalry. A villain fearing the hero on the other hand means a line was crossed by the hero that shouldn't be crossed making them fall from grace.
If the villain fears your improvement, you’d be more scared of yourself; putting fear in someone evil is a scary thought. Whereas encountering the admirer is arguably worse cuz they don’t feat you; they’re embracing of it, and so, become cloaked and unpredictable.
The villain that admired your improvement is like the protagonist saying "You changed, let the real fight begin" it's so scary like he ain't scared of your improvement, it's a free kill.

If even the villain is genuinely afraid of you, that's when you know that you've gone to far. I feel as though the hero has gone into a dark path attempting to defeat the villain. Edit: is it bad that the people replying to this comment have restored my faith in humanity?
The scared one seems looks as if a something isn't right with you as if you've done something. He looks as if he is regretting everything and as if he made you into some sort of vengeful monster. And he knows that you no longer care about morals, nobility, or honor and all you care about is vengeance. Sounds like the finale to an amazing anime to be honest
Ikr if a villain fears me man it’s over I be they’re henchmen, them, they’re gf, they’re mom, and everyone who has wronged me in the past I would turn into the antihero
The Admirer is like "Damn, you got stronger, so I'll need to get stronger. We can both grow from this!", But the Fearing one is like "You've done something wrong, something even I wouldn't do... You're not the same person I fought..." The difference is just right, I love the duality!
The best is a mix of both. Like he pretends to be afraid and then takes of the mask to reveal his smug nature. "What have you done?" Would sound like he turn you into the monster you feared for so long.
They're both pretty scary: The one that admires your improvement isn't afraid of you anymore than before and enables you to make decisions, while also being seriously sadistic. The one that fears your improvement is terrifying because that leaves the possibility of you becoming worse than the villain themself.
From a protagonist perspective, it’s really about the kind of villain your facing. If my villain admires the lengths I’d go through to stop him, and isn’t fearful of it. Who knows if I even got close enough to scratch them. But on the other hand, if the worst person I know in this world is scared of the man I became to defeat them… then that has to say something about the way I got there.
This could be a fear of a villain who may not be able to let the hero live the next encounter. Or the supposed villain losing may have even more dire consequences if the hero wins
The villains that scare me the most are the ones thst admire your improvement. There eyes are closed 24/7, and are always calm. They are the ones who never break there composure No matter how much the MC powers up, or are injured. They can be on the brink of getting bodied and they will not even have a bead of sweat. Those villains are unpredictable.
If the villain admires you, you're definitely in for a ride. Basically, you're kind of frenemies with the villain, a pretty rare but fun friendship going on. But when the villain fears you, (and without even physically or mentally hurting them) you know you're going down the wrong path. Even the villain is a human, and knows when it's going too far.
@@fortuneugo8723 if I was evil, the best thing to see would be to have the hero become more villainous. The real victory is in the fact that I made the hero stray from their morality. I would fear the hero who’s done everything to improve, but their will was never shaken. In fiction and in the real world, good always prevails.
tbh the villain that fears your improvement makes you feel like *YOU* are the villain like hes reacting as if you have crossed a major line and it really makes you ask yourself "what have i done?"
Plot twist: After defeating the villain, the protag become an absolute embodiment of his ideals, which turns him corrupt. Thus, he become what he swore to destroy.
the villain being scared of your improvement and asks what you've done in fear is much scarier. he's not afraid of losing his life, or losing the battle, he's afraid of what you've become.
The villian that admires you're improvement hear me out, the villian that admire's it has already become that monster and when he see's you're improvment he knowns he can finally go full force and not just toy with you the person that admires has become a full blown monster and he admires you're improvment cause he's a monster tratior villian and god and he is crazy.
?? That makes no sense why would he care if they became a " monster and why would not care for his own life, out of all the anime I've watched and games I've played I have never been scared for a character while fighting a villain that scared of the mc For example for one terrifies everyone in mha and that's the reason most ppl rmr him cuz he was scary and made the stakes for everything in the end so much more higher and when we see them fight he will d smile glad to fight and finally get a chance to get one for all
@@BLANK_246 its scarier because it shows you the person you were rooting for the entire time (the hero) ended up being the true villain all along. It doesn't make you scared of the villain, it makes you scared WITH the villain. Because if the villain is scared, then that means the situation is more serious than it ever was, that means it got BAD.
I love the idea of a game where you start off as noble and selfless, but it ends with you being even more evil than the man you seeked to bring to justice
Hey man, if this yo final form, then... Looks like you'll be the first to 😳 tonight. 😈 The moral of this post is to state the idiot to become Final Form (for example, a scared villian) is the idiot who declares being defeated, before the battle even started...
Also, imo the villian who admires your improvement is stronger and doesnt even use physical strength peaks, because The simple line "What have you done?" from someone with arrogance like that exudes a cockiness, and furthermore, questions the validity of your improvement. Suddenly , the villian becomes even more of an opponent as they engage in psychological warfares over physical one, in an attempt (possibly vain) to disingenuinize your actual improvement. Like talking you into becoming weaker. It opens a whole new world of power, and one without exertion of physical strengths. One far beyond "wits" and "values"
In my opinion, the villain admiring your improvement is way scarier, as you know that he knows he can still beat you or control you. If he was fearing us, it would be better for us as we can see the enemy vulnerable. It is always very dangerous to not know your enemy's plans or weaknesses because you don't know what exactly you should do to protect yourself from his harm.
It's better when the villain admires you because that shows two things . One : he ain't scared of shit , he is an actually powerful villain. Two : it emphasizes that no matter how strong you get there is always a chance to fail .
The one that admires the improvement is clearly a villain who last time they met steamrolled the hero. The one that fears is clearly one that got steamrolled by the hero
Admires seems more unpredictable as they do not fear your improvement. Fears seems like they know something you don't about your improvement that makes them genuinely fear you.
