oh wait was i not supposed to do it as mario characters My Tiktok: www.tiktok.com/@prozd_tiktok?... Original Tiktok here: www.tiktok.com/@chrisgreenfie...
What I love about Waluigi is that he's theoretically villainous, but given that he's only in sports/karting games he's really just Wario's fitter friend who helps him get some exercise.
@@amicandapulse holy crap you’re right … he’s just there to workout and party with Luigi, like that one cousin you only invite out of responsibility and pity
It really shows how good a voice actor he is when I could tell immediately with no context that he was voicing as Waluigi, Mario, Wario, and Luigi in that order
I didn't know it was Waluigi at first, I thought he was trying to go for some Lord of the Rings villain, but by the time he got to Mario it was obvious.
I was thinking about the mario movie and that old joke "you're not the clown, you're the entire circus", but in this scenario they could've probably just hired you to voice everyone
Unironically yes. He sounded just like the characters without sounding "grating or annoying" like some people complain they would if illumination chose the game voice actors for the movie
It cracks me up how voice actors like Sungwon can be so visually expressive when voicing lines and then the second they’re done they immediately return to neutral lol
It's actually necessary. How you make yourself sound different is entirely based on the shape of your mouth/throat/etc are different than normal. You HAVE to contort your face to make substantially different sounds.
I like how he went with Waluigi first, because that voice in general can be easily mistaken for your average mustache tweaking villain, but as soon as I heard Mario everything else fell into place.
Plot Twist, Sung Won isn't just a simple talented voice actor. He actually has multiple personalities evil and good, twisted and rational, chaotic and lawful.
Sungwon’s “I dunno” oozes so much confidence Side note: I’m just imagining Luigi having done the right thing and regretting it because if it wasn’t gonna work out anyway he definitely would’ve taken the easy route
The answer you come to after being in doubt is usually something you’ll regret, no matter what you choose! If you’re going to regret it anyway, do whatever’s easiest for you in the moment!
@@shiftylookingpyjak1989 yes throw your morale compass out the window! you dont need one of those, they dont even point north! please laugh at my joke!
I'd love for Sungwon to just get a script of a random show and just replace all the characters with any character voice he chooses, bonus points if he all makes them be voiced by goofy
More like whomever the video game VA is. Chris Pratt doesn’t even really have a career as Mario. He has one upcoming role in a yet to be released movie.
Damn. That was actually really good. Captured the sound of the characters well, while still keeping the dialogue fairly believable. Too bad we got Chris Pratt.
Something he's mentioned before about voice acting is the acting part is more important than the voice itself. So Nintendo chose renown actors over skilled voice actors. And who knows, chris may actually be good. I'm sure he had to compete for the spot
Fun fact: When I first heard about the Mario movie, I thought that the actors were really going to play in the movie, and not just voiceact. Took me months to realize I'm not going to see Chris Pratt jumping around as Mario
When you are so good at voice acting that you turn voice acting challenges into parodies that still resonate more genuine emotion than most other actors. Also Luigi is the hero we deserve, but not the one we need.
I knew you were doing Waluigi for the first one! When you did Chris Pratt for the second one I felt more confident, and them when you did Wario and Luigi for the last two, that just confirmed it!
@@BerriMura I appreciate your words of encouragement but my anxiety prevents that. Besides, nobody likes the sound of their own voice... unless they're a narcissist
You probably aren't going to get much love or recognition for it but I am just here to say your performance as Gen in AI actually brought me to tears at one point. Keep doing that good work man.
I like to think that heroes and villains both sound like normal people, so for people listening in it just sounds like they’re role playing or having an argument.
Surprisingly fitting. Waluigi as scheming arrogant villain, Mario as passionate righteous hero, Wario as glutton brute villain, and Luigi as reluctant but determined hero
that luigi surviving an apocalypse where all his loved ones died and now he has to protect a village of toads from an attack of mutated koopas hit so hard tho
I can't hear ProZD's Mario impression without thinking of "I love Brawl". Seriously, though, he rocks both heroes and villains voices in equal measure.
The first one plays “Dang, he’s really good! Very interesting villain voice. Hm. Kinda sounds like Waluigi.” The second one plays. “Yup. That’s Mario.”
