Watching the podcast got me back into reading and collecting comics. I’ve been going back and reading old Batman books and I’m gonna keep up with the new ultimate spiderman run.

Exactly the kind of comic show I was looking for. Enough with the complaining. Let’s just talk about cool comics stuff.

Troy how dare you BUTCHER Mjölnir like that. It's me-yol-neer. Myol-neer. Mjölnir. Not even a marvel fan just like mythology. (I really hope that comes off as lighthearted as I meant it.) I really love this podcast though. My preferred content is usually videogame lore or horror stuff, but this is great. Slater is a wonderful addition and I can't wait for more episodes.

Hello, 20 year old gen-z here. When calling Troy baby girl it really just means he's hot and comfortable in a masculinity that isn't easily threatened. Sometimes it'll intermix with the whole "i like them skinny and scrawny" thing that some women go for (another tiktok thing you gotta be on tiktok to truly understand), which usually means less physically overpowering or weak (usually for women who enjoy being more dominant and meant positively). It means only the highest of praise. We're at that point in our lives, watching the world fall apart around us, where, if we throw a sentence together of a bunch of jumbled up bullshit and it just *feels* right, welp, there ya go. New vocab for ya. Levi Ackerman? Babygirl (Would probably also fall under skinny and scrawny category, as would quite a few other anime men). Pedro Pascal? Baby girl. Bucky Barnes? Sure! He's baby girl too. Troy? Yeah he's baby girl. The whole bdsm joke he has in a clip on his tiktok? Big baby girl energy (Probably the skinny and scrawny category as well, which I again take great pains to assure you is, in fact, a compliment). Or, another good example was the clip of him yelling "don't one up me Erica, I'm winning... And you're wet." Very baby girl. Gotta be honest, if she wasn't before, she was then, and was probably not the only one in the audience after said statement. It's that baby girl energy. (I'm honestly not sure how much the earlier part of our generation uses it though, but us in our early to mid-twenties will probably know what it means).

i love this show already, its so positive! all these other comic podcasts are so negative, its so awesome to see a show where people talk about stuff they love!
