Comparing window tint between Lexen window tint and geoShield window tint. Looking at IR heat rejection and clarity of the films comparing dyed, carbon and ceramic window tint.
You get what you pay for. Geoshield looks better and performs better. I guess Lexen is for the budget crowd, which isn't bad or anything but its just not superior in any way. Good review.
Love Geoshield however their Pronano 70% Ultra has more of a brownish Amber hue if anyone else has noticed..looks great on black cars, but a little wonky on specialty colored vehicles. Wish it reflected off blue like Llumar. I’m also talking about the front windshield in all of this. I still prefer Llumar ultra ceramic as it has even more clarity over Geoshield, however I keep it for customers on a budget. Geoshield and Flex Film but even flex has been getting a bit pricey this past year
This is true. I noticed my geoshield pro nano tint has brownish color looking out, looking from the outside is still black. How is llumar color compared to geoshield pronano?
So basically for almost double the money you're getting a little more clarity? I've never tried Geoshield so I don't have anything bad to say about it, but I have been using Lexen and I think its a great film. I've been thinking of moving to Geoshield but I haven't seen anyone compare them like you and this video just showed me for double the money I can get a little more clarity. Thanks. But I think I will stay with Lexen for the meantime until my business grows, I just started getting my feet wet with Automotive, been in flat glass for about 10 years now. I have Lexen on my own vehicles and love the color and I don't really notice the clarity difference and none of my customers have said anything. Would you agree that Lexen is still good for the price? Also Lexen Has a Mega Max ceramic that I believe would compare to the Geoshield as far as heat rejection. Only thing I would love to see is the longevity of the Lexen film. Haven't found any videos on it. But great video by the way.
Everyone has their opinion and choose what they feel right to them. I carry both and let the customer choose. Personally I have geoShield ceramic on my own vehicle because I know film and like the benefits. Had Lexen before and after comparing switched. Don’t knock it tell you try it, 😂
I use Lexen as well. Did learn that the dye film didn’t block nearly anything. After watching this. I’ll only by there carbon or above. This is great video.
You should have used the C2 ceramic to compare to the kool max. Koolmax is a ceramic carbon hybrid, as is the C2 ceramic is also a ceramic carbon hybrid.
You had to move it 3 inches closer to get the 300 reading. i feel like that would be a significant difference. If you have to move closer, wouldn't that mean it blocks more
Good man, frankly, I trust your experience. I hope you try the moto shield pro nano ceramic. I plan to buy it, but I am afraid that it will not be good.
I know people use it in Arizona which is hotter without any issue so I would say it’s good in Cali. Go with ProNano Ceramic for best results and longevity
I work with Geoshield. I work with their super ceramic "Apex". I really enjoy their line ups. Pro Classic, Nano Carbon, and Apex. It performs really great. All their films are color stable.
It’s a standard dyed film on both heat lamps, the comparison is between carbon and ceramic. Standard dyed is only to show from no tint to standard dyed tint there is almost no heat reduction.
I hate these heat light samples because there is no guarantee your getting that film. I was fooled by a shop that showed me this heat light sample and was cool to the touch, was sold. Had it installed and guess what, didn't react the same ad the heatlight. Glass is always hot to the touch.
That depends on the honesty of the shop as well as if your trying to be cheap. Remember you get what you paid for, if it’s too good to be true then it’s probably not. We have the display and we can show the same results on the customers car. I will post a video showing you our service and results. Check why get ceramic in few minutes on my channel
