First time stumbling upon this channel after enjoying your THG channel for a long time, thought I landed in bizarro world. The familiar "Welcome back," the whiteboard etc...but with wrestling instead of hockey. I was almost expecting you to turn the camera and reveal that the 'hardcam' side is actually an entire half of the room dedicated to wrestling, just as decked out as the hockey side. Complete with a cheeky portrait of Shawn Michaels in the inverse spot as to where you keep the little Bettman portrait you have.
Ya you miss 3 more aew storyline The chris jericho learning tree second The Elite storyline with hangman okada vs aew and Kris standlander and willow storyline
Taker was an undead Zombie Priest with Force Lightning. What got me was The video segment where you saw Rowan crumbling. It was genuine and not exploitation. All of The Six truly adored Bray and want to do right by him. Chad Gable has found his groove as a delusional heel who abuses the rest of Alpha Academy. Otis decking Gable will be a huge pop.
My only issue with WWE right now are the networks they're on. USA and Fox have been doing terrible in the final months both Raw and Smackdown are on those networks before Raw goes to Netflix and Smackdown moving back to USA
@NotTheHockeyGuy it's not just the swearing there's been a few times where USA has cut to commercial too soon or cut the end of the show off early (which I've seen Canadian streamers say Sportsnet doesn't do)
Cornette looks at things as if Kayfabe was still alive, and he doesn’t like gymnastic matches that exposes the business as phony and pre-determined. And he dislikes stuff that does not make sense. It’s like the sledgehammer, or chair, or any object. If people legitimately got hit with those objects, they’d be knocked out cold, and not ‘I’m going to get hit with a sledgehammer and be up on my feet in 5 seconds’
Piggybacking off a few angles/ notes: 1. I watched Collision for the first time in months. They had variety IMO.. but I understand where you're coming from. Size. Where's Hobbs, where's Wardlow, they hardly show Archer. AEW really emphasizes on the smaller, more aerial, more combo moveset guys. You see one Dante Martin match, you seen em all. Unless, you're like Joe, or Eddie Kingston, or Malakai Black.. yea there's pretty much a copy and paste card. 2. Drew- CM Punk- Seth - really has been slowly brewing since Punk's return at Survivor Series. Ofc, it's been stretched due to Injury bug Punk, when you have Punk & Drew back n forth screwing each other. Although, It has been really entertaining. The fact that Seth is gonna be able to referee the match, and somehow get his comeuppance, will be so sweet. But yes, overall winner of this feud is just the next contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. 3.Tribal Temu has been sorta OK. I know they have to get over by winning over the boys KO, Randy, Cody. They need to be more aggressive, and I know they've done quite a bit of havoc. When under new management, I assume you have to take what Roman did best.. which was promos. But honestly, Solo will never hold your attetntion like Roman does... IDK the concept of Solo being the leader, when we marks know about Jacob Fatu, we know the G.O.D. and ?Solo Sokoa? is the new tribal chief.. I guess!! but no. not even close. 4. Lastly, cmon give Will Ospreay some love. He did lose to MJF last Wednesday.. but all his previous matches have been a tear since he won the AEW International title. Ospreay has been the poster boy, since he moved full time to AEW. I believe, in the long game, I know he's separated from the Callis family. So, I'm intrigued when, and where, will Dirty Don use that against Ospreay. Also, one last thing. I just happened to see your channel, clicked on the vid.. great content. Awesome analysis.. good to see you talking about this wrasslin business. AND without an ounce of tribalism mentioned. For that, we appreciate you!
Feels like WWE has resumed the Divas era (or 90’s Springer) with this Liv story. It also creepily parallels Vince and Janel Grant in some aspects. Hard pass from me. Ospreay vs MJF’s hour long match was amazing though.
Actually the Rhea storyline is almost beat for beat with Eddie Guerrero and Chyna decades ago. The fans are invested in it. Dom will turn against Rhea and become a mega-heel again.
My theory is WWE wants you to think they dropped it. A lot of people think Dom is going to turn on Mami, but I'm holding strong that Finn and Liv have been in cahoots this whole time.
The thing with the Meriah may turn was they did the exact samething with MJF and Garcia the week before. The Wyatt sick6 also not for me. They show up week one. It's showed like they commit mass murder backstage and they're babyfaces.......
@@NotTheHockeyGuy That's never stopped them before. Plus they had to know this group was always going to get sympathy cause of Bray. So that whole debut was a bust for me
In the HHH era, WWE has been listening to the fans more. If Vince was in charge, Cody wouldn't have got to finish his story. He would have left it as Rock vs Roman.
@@NotTheHockeyGuy You gotta pick when to listen to the fans. If they scream it long enough yes okay. You don't flip it after 1 week cause they cheered. You do everything in your power to make the fans respond how you want. If they don't, then shift.
The Wyatt Sick6 wasn't going to get booed no matter what they did. The sympathy for Bo Dallas having lost his brother, then opting to pay homage to him with this group, is a great story. The quick switch of the Mania main event worked. This is working as well.
