Elementary Teacher and Early Childhood Educator training resource, from the 'Re-connecting With Nature Workshop'. This activity is designed to get students comfortable exploring and creating independently in nature, using their sense of smell to uncover the hidden 'whiffs' of the forest.

Who doesn't love a surprise sundae party? In this Guided nature Play activity, your students are invited to make their own unique 'earth-scoop' flavours to share. But theres a catch; You don't eat them, you smell them! With the help of teacher, children will explore the forest floor to hunt for hidden smells and make delicious whiff cups to bring to their own whiff cup party.

Props needed:
One small reusable cup per child + teacher
(Tip: Try to keep your cup size below 8oz. The smaller the cup, the easier the activity! Plastic shot glasses (1-2oz) work especially well for Early Childhood or Primary. The thicker the plastic, the longer you can re-use them!)
