Can anyone provide the part spec for the brass elbow connecting the water line to the inlet valve? One side is 3/8 but I need to know the specific size. I can’t get the old one off. Thanks!

I have a different question I can't find the answer or video pertaining to it. I got a brand new I got a brand new Maytag dishwasher and it worked two times. Then our water froze where comes up out of the ground about 3 ft into the house. The dishwasher was not used at all during this time. When I unfroze the pipe and the water came in to the house it started going into the dishwasher and won't stop. If I unplug it it continues if I turn it off it continues and overflows onto the floor. Are you able to tell me what the problem is here and what I need to purchase.guy

Broken solenoid

Could have gotten ice or debris into the inlet valve (solenoid). Should be hot water so I don't think ice would be doing that very long. Sometimes debris is cleared just by running the dishwasher for a second, using the Cancel/Drain button will temporarily empty the bottom if it's filling up to the point of overflow. The inlet valve is usually the part needed if Cancel/Drain empties it just fine and you have to keep draining it every few mins/hours. I would find water in the bottom every now and then sometimes it would flood the floor and the float was dirty/stuck. With water slowly running down the inside wall and it repeatedly filling up, I figured it was my inlet valve failing to close completely.

this is a common problem all the dishwashing machines nowaday. Built-in obsolescence otherwise the Maytag repair man will be bored to death :).

Howdy, y'all! Whatch're goan do is take this-a-here wang-doodle and discombobulate it from the rest of the doohickey. This cheap plastic junkpile done gone bad on us, so we's gonna hafta get clever since another 'un 'll take a couple weeks t'come in. I gots this-a-here jim-jam off'n a Kenmore what's been a-settin' out on the back porch a couple years, an' we's jes goan make 'er work wit a li'l duct tape an' some zip ties.

The voice is actually very soothing and reassuring. Country or southern accent? No thanks. I suppose it is all in what you are used to, but I have watched and followed several videos, fixing things on my own to success every time. Congrats Repair Clinic!
