If I have 4 shocks do I ALSO have suspension springs? I do not want to purchase 4 shocks only to find out it is the springs.

Unfortunately the plastic ring in which the suspension needs to be attached has broken , how do I fix that?

On my whirlpool front loader I noticed one spring looks to be longer than the other. Is this an indication springs need to be replaced? Also wld this cause the drum to make noise?

This would be a really helpful video if my actual machine looked like this one. Unfortunately, it does not. It is a model# 110.45862-400 and it lacks the transverse support bracket this tech uses to suspend the ratchet strap. Instead, the upper brackets are set in apertures cut into the cabinet's side bulkheads. No ratchet strap that I've been able to find is short enough to draw up the tub under these conditions. As there are both forward and aftward apertures in the LH and RH bulkheads, and only the forward apertures contain brackets, it is possible that a length of galvanized pipe or rebar running from one aftward aperture to the other could instead be used to suspend the ratchet strap. This seems like a needlessly involved method to me. There must be an easier way, if only I can find it!
