Their rack packs are great too. They'll do all sorts of weird customization, such as switchable UPS looks. But: The red casters are rock hard - even on super-smooth floor the vibration makes my hands start to numb if I push it a couple hundred feet.
There are very few in our industry that like GFI circuits. They cause us all a lot of trouble. As they age they trip much easier. The best way is to have your own PD and try to stay away from them.
Can you explain the suicide cable? I know it purpose, but how is it powering the distro? Obviously all the outlets on the front are not inlets... Probably a brain fart, and missing something. Haha😂
Definitely. So it is only powering the “black” leg in this situation. Which luckily is the leg that powers the lights and network port. Since all of the contacts have to touch when the circuit breakers are on for that leg it is essentially is providing 20 amps total divided out by every outlet on the pd that is black. So if you plugged in 11 amps on two different plugs at the same time it would trip the 20 amp source in this case a circuit at our shop.
Tell that to Westinghouse and many other manufactures that actually sell them. At least we do not rent or sale them. I think we would be more likely to die tying into a 250 amp service than using this. Google Westinghouse inverter generator parallel cord. It is a bit scary.
