Vortex of Steel is really fun to play when seeing enemies that are irresistible to my pull. The only drawback is it would easily be interrupted if being stun. What if using masterwork that will cast Walking Fortress? The spinning would increase the chance to cast it and keep the inquisitor from being interrupted.
Wow i never really used that skill too much even two handed warrior being my fav class from inquisition, i was trully surprised when u showed it pulling the poison dragon, alright time to do another da inquisition playtrough thanks
Would you consider doing a video on the best accessories in dragon age inquisition please? Paying particular attention to what accessories go best with what class please. I have difficulty understanding who to put rings of sunder and staggering on for example. Also who to use willpower amulets on and what function these items serve to the characters. Thanks.
Stagger is basically stun chance on being hit, so it is best to put those on warriors, since they tank. Sunder is also chance based(it reduces armor by 20% on successful sunder, its like the Cheap Shot or the Shield-Breaker passive skills), so it is best to put those on people who have multiple hit skills, like the Energy Barrage or Leaping Shot. Willpower amulets give Attack(like Strength for Warriors or Dexterity for Rogues, but Willpower gives attack to everyone - Attack increases your damage) and magic resistance(magical damage reduction basically).
There's just one problem, though: even if you can prevent yourself from being stunned or knocked down, enemies with shield can still block and cancel whirlwind. Hell, sometimes they can block you even with just a sword.
Hey, hope all is well. I believe I’ve mentioned getting into writing and DA being one of the inspirations for me to get Into it. I’ve planned a lot and have had ideas. I’ve even wrote a small piece for Morrigan and her Golden Mirror. Recently, I was given an opportunity to join a discord server. It’s only a few of us, literally 5, but we are writers coming together and just expressing our love for DA. We are collaborating on smaller writings to practice and grow. Eventually wanting to get into bigger projects to write our own version of DA series or a specific entry. I’m not sure if you write and I believe you’ve mentioned not having a discord but would you be Interested enough to make one and join the server to express writing ideas and collaborate? Or to just even chat more about DA? I understand if you wouldn’t ofc. I figured I would ask. You continue to do great work with DA and are clearly passionate. Hey, hope all is well. I was wanting to ask for some advice and thoughts. I’m wanting to try a build where I’m an Arcane Archer in DA:O. I assume the magic stat still contributes to damage and accuracy since it’s a replacement of strength with the arcane spec. Ofc we will still need Dex for the bow requirement. I play ps3 so I can’t mod to make it work mor effectively. Any advice or experience with it? I figured I could go some paths: Elemental Archer w/ bombs, primal school, and AW/blood mage/battlemage spec or spirit healer w/ support and heals.
I have an Arcane Blood Archer build on my channel. Quite recent actually. The trick is to put almost everything on Magic. Your bow should be the Whitewood bow, since it is a very strong short bow and it allows you to not put anything on Dex. It has 18 Dex requirement which is a joke yet it has 9.5 damage(6.5 + 3) which matches any longbow and it also gives 5% ranged crit chance. With Leliana and her Song of Courage I was around 50% crit chance which is insane. As I said, put everything on Magic, get the Lifegiver ring and use Blood Magic for cc. Your Blood Wound will be near irresistible because of your high Magic. Then just start picking them off one by one with your bow. You should check out my video on it. :)
Idk if this was always the case but I was using a warrior archer with Spirit Warrior Spec. But I didn’t know that archery had the spirit damage applied from the sustainable. I always thought it only worked on melee weapons. I heard that but ig it was wrong. Spirit Warrior as always is fun. Warrior archer too. Please come back to DA haha.
It was always the case. :) I made videos about it too, where I showed that the Spirit Warrior Archer with a mage who has Affliction or Vulnerability Hex can wreck bosses in seconds with Arrow of Slaying and Scattershot. A single Arrow of Slaying can deal up to 3-4k damage or even more. A single Scattershot with Affliction Hex applied on an Elite or Boss can take out an entire crowd of 10-15 enemies in one hit. Spirit Warrior is insane with Hexes. Archer or melee. I have not left DA, I'm just really busy right now. By next month I will return and hopefully I will start cranking out content. :)
@@AKisHerceg oh sorry, it was a misinterpretation. When I said “come back to DA” I meant archery for warriors. Thought spirit warrior should also return with Fade Burst and stuff. Sorry though haha. I know your busy from other conversations we’ve had. Yeah, I always thought it was melee. I didn’t recall the archer spirit warrior in your older videos. Despite being only 21, I have that old man memory haha. I only found out toward the end of awakening so I couldn’t take full advantage. Though I still had some fights left so Velanna had both Affliction and Regular hex to stack along with heals.
I've recently started playing dragon age inquisition again however my game has lost connection to the ea server and won't connect, ive Uninstaller and installed it and that didn't work, any solutions, anyone else have this problem, I have lost my golden nug
No idea. I also have troubles with every single EA game I own because of the new EA launcher. You should try to talk to EA support, maybe they will be able to help.
Just wanted to complain. For some reason, Aegis of the Rift still goes on cooldown even if you use flask of fire with unqeunchable Flames and there is no mod that fixes that. Man, I wish inquisition wasn't this unpopular.
Sadly, that is because it is not a normal skill. It's a Mark skill, like Mark of the Rift or the Anchor Blast. They work separately from the rest of your skills. This is why they also don't cost stamina.
@@AKisHerceg it is affected by "opportunity knocks" from artificer, and I think "flashpoint" also affects it. Weird that they made specifically flask of fire not work with Aegis
@@dmitrygolubev9398 Those are passive skills that apply on everything. Flask of Fire is not passive. It used to behave like a passive, that is why you can see older videos where people spam Thousands Cuts with it, but it was patched for this exact reason. Now it doesn’t behave like a passive, it only applies to non-Mark related skills. Focus abilities and everything coming from your Mark tree is unaffected by it.
Rising winds looks too annoying, you need to waste a lot of time stacking the spin bonuses and you can easily get blocked and waste it. And the damage isnt even that good, combat roll is better. The other upgrade can have some insane potential with high crit and templar spec. Use the whirlwind to pull all the mobs and the high speed would remove your cooldowns, then 1 shot everything with Wrath Purge. Plus it looks a lot cooler
As I stated in the video, Rising Winds can be very powerful with a Reaver and speed increasing talents and gear. In just 5 seconds you can do 10 spins, each giving you 15% damage bonus.
