These are my personal favorite and basically the best-overpowered skill combinations in Dragon Age Inquisition. The best thing though: you can spam them endlessly!
What can we say Artificer is pure Love because his kits are somewhat believable. And never forget elemental mines, those babies top any mages run for their money when it comes to AOE damage. Sadly warriors look most ridiculous just rolling over doing most damage.
Nice one.... though i was hoping to see alot more here F.e.: Templar's Wrath of Heaven->Spell Purge is a very high AoE damage combo that 1shot almost any enemy on the field. Only downside is its not aplicable to bosses such as Corypheus, Dragons, Nightmare and Ogres Assasin - Knockout bomb->Stealth->Hidden blades also destroys any enemy (aside from the ones i mentioned) Static cage->Energy Barrage is a slayer too... especially if you took flashpoint. Then you can spam 2 or 3 times energy barrage making dozens of hits (best suited for Rift mage to negate mana consumption)
I mean. The title says that these are combos you can spam. The Templar combo has a sizeable cooldown, and while Whirlwind can be used to reduce its cooldown then you're just gonna be whirlwinding most of the time and Champion is, as shown in this video, the best at whirlwinding most of the time
Great content! After seeing the KE combo I wonder if it's posible/viable a KE build with high "melee" damage. What would be the stats to focus on? Sorry if you're already have a video on the matter. Keep doing this awesome videos man!
you would have to rely on combo explosions from your companions... or you can take the Decloaking Blast upgrade so you detonate for 1000% weapon damage if you are inside enemy.... boy that sounded wrong 😅
High melee damage, which is in this case spirit damage, is pretty hard to achieve with the KE, since not many things boost spirit dmg. Targets explode, walking bomb and hidden blades are the best masterworks for boosting damage, but your initial dmg needs to be pretty good for them to be very effective. I would say don’t pick up the upgrade of spirit blade, that way you don’t lose that much dmg after activation - or keep spamming energy barrage to keep your blade fully loaded at all times. You definitely need to put a good rune in your weapon as well. :)
Blade of tidarion solves this very well. With two different types of elemental damage (because you can add a rune) and energy barrage will fill up your spirit blade instantly @@AKisHerceg
Your a god! Love this!!! Love you still make videos for these games!!! Love it! Keep going mate :) Trying out some of your builds and ideas all the time :) You have one video of varric spammong flanking strike and toxic mist for elusive buffs, but my varric just keep standing without doing shit :( kills one target and just end up never really joining the fight unless directly tell him to fight that target - Then he stops again :(
Thanks! :) That is odd. Make sure he follows himself and his cooldowns are right. Sometimes followers stop doing stuff until their skills recharge. Not sure why this happens, it might be a glitch. The best is to use the targeting system and make him target specific enemies when this happens. I do that when his brain freezes. :)
Thanks to your builds I began to like DA I combat, despite initially it's been a struggle.Simply amazing. Also, I really like the idea behind combo for reaver, so do you have full build for it somewhere on a channel?
Thanks! I don’t have a specific Reaver-combo build, but I have videos about combos where you can put together whatever combo you would want to play with. :)
@@AKisHerceg I can agree on that, I'm pretty satistied. I just feel 2-handed weapons give a higher base damage for skill scaling. Plus they look awesome. But I'll save them for the Whirlwind + Walking Fortress combo
Sadly a mage will not gonna deal much damage with that. The best skill to use is Immolate, so a rift mage with the Consuming Fire upgrade can continue to cast it and detonate eldritch combos over and over. Other than that Energy Barrage is ok too, but the damage will not be very impressive. Eldritch is best on a masterwork with warriors or rogue because they have a ton of base dmg from their weapons. A mage is a bit less effective with it. :)
@@AKisHerceg mmmmmmmm, u know, u just gave me an idea. What if i use a mod to make me a 2h weapon for that mage. It could break the game, but if i just use eldrich combos, it may work.
I must be the only Warrior ever to pick the Dragon Rage upgrade that gives it a cooldown in exchange for not draining HP. I know it's supposed to be Reaver's whole ordeal, but the HP drain just drives me nuts.
I get you. I remember the first time I played a Reaver and kept dying because I never bothered to watch my health. I kept drinking upgraded regeneration potions. Luckily with heal on kill items this problem was later solved marvelously. :)
@@AKisHerceg I love being super durable, so to drain my HP in order to attack I'd have to build all-in on HP so I have enough to spare. In other words: I'm spoiled by Champion.
Uh, Amplified Blade actually weakens Spirit Blade combo because it completely depletes the charge. It doesn't increase damage whatsoever; only charge rate, but this is redundant since you also lose energy much faster.
True, but that is exactly what makes Fade Cloak last longer, hence the invulnerability spamming. That combo is not about damage as I wrote it in the video. :)
Useless combo for KE, this class has tons of survivability, as is. What it needs more is damage, which is why I always take decliacking blast and on-hit cloak, which allows me to spam invulnerability+blast damage.
A useless combo? The strength of the KE comes from its Barrier generation based on damage. Basically, as long as you can swing your weapon or cast spells, you can generate Barrier, which can protect you from damage. So this means that the KE is invulnerable now, and it does not need any more survivability, right? All it needs is damage, right? Well... have you ever played the Descent DLC solo + all trials with a KE? There are these cute dwarves called Sha-Brytol Bolters. Their weapon has an insane damage bonus against Barriers. A single burst fire from ONE Bolter's Lyrium crossbow(approximately 1.5 sec until all the 4-5 hit burst fire connects) can rip through your FULL barrier like butter. Even with the Strenght of Spirits passive, they rip through it and finish your health with one shot. They have a cooldown of 2 to 2.5 sec on their weapon fire, and you always face at least two or three. Behind enemy lines... sniping you from afar... The Barrier generated from your Decloaking blast will be down before you can say "useless combo". After the invulnerability ends, you can reload your last quick save and haul your butt back to the camp to get Blackwall. Or you can use this useless combo and finish the Descent solo with all trials with relative ease(I even have a video about it if you are interested). The choice is yours. :)
