Splitz Cinematics it happened when I was attacking on Iwo Jima. It caught me be surprise because yea you usually hear soldiers saying thank you but this was the first time I’ve ever heard the soldier actually react to the needle besides their facial expression. I’m not sure if it’s a rare piece of dialogue or what but it was really cool hearing something like. Maybe I have a recording of it on my Xbox but I’m not sure how I’ll be to post a clip from my console or if I even have a clip lol.
@@dawsonindustries I was flying once and the tail of the plane hit the water and It was literally half my plane on the water with full thrust on, I had to exit it because it was just stuck there
You Should have mentioned the different landings when getting out of a Higgins boat. When the ramp is up you have to jump over the side and when the Ramp is down, you storm out the front. These are small details but still very cool ones.
ADRIAN Lauw Not true they had a good reason to start with its garbage. People didn’t buy and talked shit because of political agenda, along with me being that person. But after I realized they cooled it with politics In updates and social media. I decided to finally buy the game knowing they learned from their mistake. Yet, another reason I decided to is because it was on sale lol. But, now that I played it after all that the game is truly a master piece and that’s a prime example to leave politics out of business.
I bought it when it came out and i enjoyed it tbh, I have a busy life so I just felt lucky to play when I could, I learned ppl are gonna complain about something all the fucken time, and the end of the day I feel it's just marketing strategy on behalf of the company making money, I mean that's the purpose right, our money?
The whistling noise from the bombs was Hollywood effects. The only whistle bombs made was German ones. The Germans also had the Jericho Trumpet affixed to Stuka dive bombers so when the plane dives the trumpet creates a siren sound
In Iwo Jima breakthrough, one of the docked big boats on the shore explodes in to a huge fireball. I saw it from the main deploy overview screen. It was one of the boats from out of bounds near mount suribachi
Because unlike it's release, it actually puts more focus on gameplay and details over political brownie points to people who don't even play the game in the first place
I think it’s cool how when dogfighting or defending on a rear gun of a bomber, you can actually kill the pilot before destroying the aircraft, which is what happened most often in real life.
@@georgewhitworth9742 it’s something that can happen with battlefield 1 planes and in battlefield 5 if you are shooting just as someone gets out it looks like that which might be where they got the idea
Awesome video Flakfire - some extraordinary details there that would definitely go unseen in the heat of battle but that all add up to the atmosphere. The atmosphere on the pacific maps in Breakthrough has been a revelation - giving that epic feeling again, akin to BF1 Operations, and that had been missing pre-Pacific. :)
I like how when your reloading the M2 flamethrower your character uses a spent metal boi(correct me if I'm wrong, Ik i am, I forgot the terminology) to change the nozzle, and replaces it completely
Flak you have such an amazing voice for narrating, it is really enjoyable. The speed of your talking, the way you pronounce things and your voice melody in general - great 👌
i dont know if u noticed but on the Sherman tank the gun holder on the front of it can flip forwards if u go forward then stop it will filp up/forward. its best to go in first person in the tank to see it but dont zoom in vie scoop but the vighshen slot.
The M1928A1 Backwoods skin makes the " Extended Magazine Specialization " different from the normal. Changing it from round to full straight like the real one used in WW2
Same high quality Flakfire content! It's great to hear the whistling from the Corsair better here as whenever I play I struggle to hear it with all the chaos going on.
I love letting the browning rip when I’m ontop of one of the concrete fortifications on Pacific storm, you hear each shell jus gettin tossed to the side as you keep lettin it rip I love the sound I can’t wait for the BAR, also a shark scared tf out of me when on pacific storm lol
I like how tank shell impact holes stay on tanks now it's so badass to be in a tank for a while round and tally how many hits you've taken and lived through
For the map Iwo Jima, looks like B-17s fly in formation periodically carpet bombing the area past where the mock battle is taking place. In the same way the Valentine Archer tank was shown off as a knocked out corpse which became available to use later on, kinda hope that means that both the US and Japan factions get bombers later on down the road.
My favorite little detail is the rattling in the cockpit of a plane when making tight maneuvers as well as the wing tips on most planes buffeting and vibrating. Another is the exhaust explosions on the headers of the spitfire if you spawn on a landing strip as it starts up.
Great job Flack ,I got bit by the shark actually started bleeding but didn’t die it was really cool great add on from dice Love the sound of the engines from the Courser .
Just found your channel this is a great video and I really appreciate it. Being on the vet I love war games... I did not like battlefield one but I think I'm going to finally give battlefield 5 what system do you play on?
Actually, another plane that makes a whistling sound is the P-51D (or probably any P51 with 6 .50 cals) because the design of where the guns were placed, the holes provide the whistling sound as it dives or flies by
The wing tips of both Corsairs and Zeros wobble when doing high attack angle maneuvers. And also I love how the leaking sandbags is carried over from BF1942.
I know I’m late, but while I was playing yesterday, I ranked up after reviving my squadmate, and you could hear is character say “absolutely deserved that promotion, sir”
Ive been pretty happy so far with the new pacific expansion. Breakthrough on both maps is fun and challenging. Im really glad they lowered the time it takes to build defenses.
Love the videos Flak! Any idea if the "achtung achtung!" on the speaker in Underground is commenced by a player pushing a button somewhere on the map or is it just CPU?
Honestly this is a solid channel can’t wait to see more did you know about the secondary attacks for both the katana your left trigger does a lunge attack that has twice the range of the right trigger attack for those g.i’s are just a little more range than the slash the secondary for the flamethrower secondary when you press the left trigger it primes the flame so there is no build up you can just burn em out
I love that the Plane ejects it’s spent casing after it’s guns fire. It’s not a crazy detail but I love when games and movies get firearms correct. It’s very annoying to play or watch something and the firearms are not done correctly, especially when there are no shell casings ejecting from guns.
Fun fact, with the landing craft if you jump into it after its already been dropped from the LST (not deploying on it from the spawn menu) you can freely move in it around as it approaches the beach (also you could fit more people inside it) so you can actually storm out of it when the ramp drops
Found s cool thing you can do as the top machine gunner in a tank. Not only can you duck for cover by pressing crouch but you can blind fire the mg while crouched.
I noticed that when spotting tanks, the the characters sound a lot more fearful when they spot a tiger, like they'll say 'oh shit, a tank' or 'tank, a bloody big one!'
Don't forget the zeros that attack a shell. The other fighting on beach. Destroyers and dreadnoughts fire king from all around the island, bombing my surabachi, and right 30 percent of ilsand. And a bomber squadron also bombs flare hills just to the right of air field and drops quite the payload. Also I've noticed more of the fleet behind the island as well. Also a detail idk if you've told. When your vehicle is at critical, the crew on inside will cough and hack along with smock, fire, and damage siren ect
The Garand's bolt can lock all the way back if you pull it back, but when firing, the insertion of fersh ammunition ubtil the follower clicks will result in the bolt automatically chambering a round if pressure on the follower is let up.
