Held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on July 29, 2023, the White Coat Ceremony symbolizes the beginning of our students' clinical experience and emphasizes their role as health care providers. The program focuses on professionalism in dentistry. Guest speakers emphasize the professional values of integrity, ethical behavior, respect for all patients and responsibility to the community. Students are presented with personalized white coats, an alumni pin and certificate of recognition. White coats are generously provided by the Alumni Association and Office of Development.
