I married my wife because we share religious and political beliefs, we have similar goals and aspirations and we love and respect each other. Looking at these statistics when choosing your partner makes no sense at all, focus on the partner rather than the color of their skin.

I think everyone knows the stats are correct. Unfortunately black men haven’t self reflected on their lack of true leadership and they rather compete with black women instead of other male groups. By your own admission black women have been building media networks for years but we can’t see the comparability for black male networks. This means something because in business you normally invest in things that can return on investment. Dominant American society can see when Black women are given a chance they can produce. They simply haven’t seen black men produce nothing more than complaints. When given an opportunity to build on RU-vid y’all focused on tearing down your counterpart instead of building community up. Now white people bringing facts and data. I see this same reality in education. When in law school I had literally only two black male counterparts in my section one from the south and one from the caribbean. When I went out in the dating market and asked black men why they did not go to law school since criminal justice issues affect them largely, they literally told me that won’t change a thing. They have a defeatist attitude but then will turn around and call me masculine for having a legal career when I have to turn around and represent largely black men and boys in court. It’s the mentality that you all don’t seem to realize is killing you. Stop spending time thinking it’s black women and look at yourself. And realize what DR. Claud Anderson said about permanent underclass will really affect you more than even your counterparts.

While WM/BW pairing have success, it's the LEAST in number of the interracial pairings. Making comparisons based on raw data is not a great comparison. BW must stay with WM... it's not easy to remarry after divorce with mixed-race kids, BW generally CANNOT return to Black men. Also - when they marry, Black men marry Black women at an 86% rate... they mostly marry Black women.
BW complain that Black men "don't marry," but 54% Black men do NOT have kids and are NOT baby daddies. However, 6 of 10 Black women have kids, with 5 of 10 producing kids out of wedlock with both NON-BLACK and Black men. Even worse is that over 70% out of wedlock Black babies are produced by a small percent of men. Black men get ALL the blame for "breaking up Black families," but BW have three to four times MORE out of wedlock kids than Black men. This WW commentator does not point to the facts of the problem.

My husband is White. You know why? I got dissed and disrespected by my own kind for being a nerd, speaking proper English, and loving things like camping, sushi, and other things that considered me White. I want a guy who at least wears a belt. I wanted someone who at least had some idea of where they wanted to go. I had no problem starting from the bottom. My husband and I used to be security guards that would work 12 hr shifts on opposite schedules. That way we had the same days off. We got a house and together we worked on our goals. I went where I was wanted. What happens? Black people got on me for dating a Jewish guy and turn then a white guy. I was a turncoat. I cannot say anything about Black issues because I obviously don't understand " the struggle". I went with who accepted me. While I still care about Black issues. I worked so many volunteer hours cleaning, planting trees, servicing the homeless, handing out food, and donating clothing to the point I got awards. I am not flexing. Just hurt. So now .. I just shrug. One can only be beaten on for so long before you just walk away. There are ALOT of Black Women out there who want to raise a family, don't mind working or just being a traditional wife. It is their loss.. not mine. The community is pushing the good ones away. Don't blame us for walking way. *shrug*

He is consistent, thoughtful, very much a gentleman and treats me well. Did I mention how consistent he has been. 😊. And he's fine too. Black American women, please know that you DO have options and men of other races DO find you desirable. You simply have to be open to it, smile, be pleasant and engage in conversation. The thing is (from what my Honey told me) is, many men of different races like black women, however, they don't approach because they think they will be rejected. She also failed to mention the actual rate in which these interracial marriages occur, while black women and white men do make the most together.... they don't like each other, the overall total number of black women married to white men is astronomically low. While WM/BW pairing have success, it's the LEAST in number of the interracial pairings. Making comparisons based on raw data is not a great comparison. BW must stay with WM... it's not easy to remarry after divorce with mixed-race kids, BW generally CANNOT return to Black men. Also - when they marry, Black men marry Black women at an 86% rate... they mostly marry Black women.
