White House Down - First Assault Scene (1080p) 

It's astonishing how they kill everyone instantly with single bullets but when they have to kill the protagonist, they miss every single shot they take

crazy how 12 npcs with no armour and little to no ammo can wipe down the most protected building on earth

All the Secret Service personnel in this scene were proud graduates of the Stormtrooper Academy.

I love how a huge bomb goes off in the white house and security is just calmly sitting around letting randomly people walk up to them. This is one of the dumbest, most unbelievable scenes in a movie I have ever seen.

2:30 superb acting. I remember watching this in the theater everyone busted out laughing when it happened. Then some guy yelled it would be a black guy yelling code black lol.

It's nice to know that every single handgun they pick up have threaded barrels to accept a silencer

Watched this movie when I was a bit younger and man it sure has not aged well over time... Olympus has fallen kicks this out the water

It's comedic how quickly the entire secret service was taken out by a bunch of randoms

Just going off this clip, it's been some time since watching this fully. Hopefully there's other explanation/context given at other points of the movie. Buuuut: - An entire group of people can get into the building impersonating staff, and can congregate in one room with no suspicion or supervision. - They can't get guns into the building, but they can get in a boatload of suppressors as if they aren't also metal. - Dude hides behind a pillar when the desk guard is looking the opposite direction focused on his computer, then they bring attention towards them by yelling for help, causing the guard to look over while drawing his gun, instead of simply shooting him in the back. - Calls out 'security sweep' to the actual security. - Buzz and are let into the weapons armoury during a lockdown after an explosion, without the armourer having some sort of peep hole or camera feed to verify who is attempting to buzz in. - Still no response from actual guards doing security sweeps after a massive explosion. - Elevator directly to a security monitoring/comms room. Elevator is still in service after lockdown. - They have tons of camera screens in aforementioned room, none of which have captured the group running around as armed janitors executing people. Also the elevator that goes to this room apparently isn't one of the camera feeds. - Decide it's finally time to hide their faces with masks when going to the roof, where they kill all the witnesses on the roof, before killing more people at ranges their faces wouldn't be visible anyways. After running around inside where all the cameras were. - Rooftop guard room also has camera monitors where none of the above has been captured. - Bunch of guards/secret service just casually chilling at the gate during all this chaos. - First semi competent person actually calls in the attack, providing zero useful specifics before being shot. Unless 'Code Black, Code Black' translates to 'sniper fire from our roof'. - Finally a response team. Zero situational awareness, all looking out windows and get sprayed in the back because no one is watching their six. - Baddies see guy grab a gun and run off, they don't send a group to pursue him. - Did they bring that .50BMG with them?

0:24 "We are on Lockdown you can't be in here!" Little did he know that this sentece would make even more sense a couple of years later

Lmao I like how that one guard got the jump on them and immediately forgot that he’s most likely a special forces veteran and just spray and prayed instead of aiming and taking down 3-4 of them.

Fun fact suppressors are not as quiet as you guys think they make at most can be heard at 6+ meters so no matter what it would be loud in less they had subsonic rounds

0:56 there was absolutely no tactical significance to that, he could have just shot him i the back of the head and saved 5 seconds, but that wasn't evil enough.

Why do a coordinated strike when apparently all you need to do is waltz right in?

I don't know what changed in me but watching anyone being shot and killed in movies, especially this many people just hurts me somehow. It's not like in a video game let's say when you "kill" people but they kinda respawn and play. It just feels strange, all these lives lost. Even though it is just a movie.

I don't want to be racist, but it''s kind of funny seeing the security guy who scream "code black! code black!"

I'm sure the White House has excellent security. This film makes the security in the White House very bad. Lol But this film is great for action movie enthusiasts

For me, Olympus was the superior film sheerly because of its portrayal of the White House under assault. It was far more brutal and the bad guys required an overwhelming amount of force just to get in. In WHD, the bad guys are somehow able to quietly take out the entire security detail and call it a day in like 5 mins with zero effort. Like come on!

I like how the crowd outside is obviously in front of a green or blue screen.

3:18 Secret Service guy comes through the door with his weapon up and on target, while bad guy has to see him, raise his weapon, first couple shots miss left and still SS guy gets no shots off.

Silencers definitely don't sound like that. Man they sure do have amazing accuracy

At least that other White House movie that made the Secret Service look like bad paintball players had a human wave of dozens of attackers, this makes it look like ten guys put it off.

Funny with the suppressors (silencers) on their guns :D 9mm pistol with a suppressor makes quite loud noise. It sounds like a .22 rifle on steroids. The whole building would echo with "BANG" :D In movies and video games they make it sound so quiet. But everyone in that building would hear a "bang" even with a suppressor... In movies and games it's just a little "pew". In reality it makes almost the same "bang" as without the suppressor :) And it's not originally meant to keep you silent for assassinations. It's meant to keep your eardrums from erupting when hunting deer with a high-caliber rifle :D

The best part about this movie is that the old Tachanka voice actor in rb6 is in this movie
