My Vernon and Suebelle White Sapotes fruit trees are finally flowering after all year of no flowers, two weeks prior I inputted blood meal fertilizer.

How many years are they planted? I have one..probably 2 years and 1 meter high...no horizontal branches...

Prune the central vertical terminal bud whatever is in the center prune it off and you’ll surely get horizontal branching

@@ZaatarGardens okey I'm in Spain zone 9a and we get -7°C but I keep it inside the garage but only 1 day a year the rest in winter is 12 / . 13/1 and I'm worried about...the oranges and lemons grow here when we cover them. What do you think about?

9a is pretty tough for all that, but you should be fine if you’re covering them in the winter or bringing them into the garage. I am 9b

Whats the low temps in your area? Im trying to figure out if the vernon can handle 25 degrees. I have two, first year.

Sapotes flower all year. My suebelle just finished fruiting and it has flowers already on it even some immature fruit.

+squints palledorous This wasn’t the case this year though, I am assuming it was due to not having sufficient amount of nitrogen.

How old is your Sappote? I have one that's from seed about 2 feet tall. Only about 8 months old.

Your garden is inline with mine! I hit the jackpot with your Videos! I just went to check on my suebelle Sapote and sure enough I see a huge cluster of flowers, half are open!

+Jozy City Opps, should’ve mentioned that in the video it’s a foam pipe insulator, helps keep the trunk warm, I also have it on my papayas (for the upcoming frost).
