Whitest Cities in the United States
Have you ever wanted to know what the whitest cities in the US are? Today you are going to find out.
2 weeks ago we did the whites states in the US followed a few days later with the blackest states.
I’m going to kinda give you the same intro I did for those
A few months ago I caved to public pressure. I usually avoid race-related videos but I had many requests. People pointed out it isn’t just racists that want to know the demographic of a location, people of different races like to know where to live so they can be near their type of restaurants, stores, and events. To me that made sense and a few months back I did a video on the most Asian states and then we did the Hispanic States.
Today we do the Whitest cities in the US and in a week or so we will do the blackest cities. Now when I say white, I mean what the US census considered “only white” there are other categories that include Hispanic white like Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans. and Cuban Americans.

It is only "racist" when "white" people want to mingle together for what-ever reason. When immigrants of what-ever colour or creed want to mingle together with their own race or religion for whatever reason......... be it food, shopping, places of worship, language, culture or the rarely spoken of but undeniably obvious power/strength in numbers........... it is NEVER racist. There are lots of places in Europe where "non-whites" have taken over entire neighbourhoods, districts, and entire cities and towns, and that is NEVER "racist". (Hint: it is because the mouthy Left-Wing manages to define these sorts of things in the media...........)

I am Asian and I was living in a small town in Utah, it’s also very “white”. But I found I felt very comfortable because most white people are actually very nice. Later I moved to California, very diverse but people are not nice at all.

Unfortunately in Nebraska. The white people in Omaha are very triggered no matter what political party or what they believe. They are so triggered that White people are sadly the most triggered race in America. I'm a Hispanic & I have never have seen so many people act like triggered little boys & girls. The main reason? The metoo movement. Don't get me wrong. Nebraska is not as nice as people think, but California is the #1 worst state in America. No wonder it is called Commiefornia.

I lived in Portland metro area for the last 20 plus years and it has changed a lot. Let's just say when I was in high school, 95 percent of my graduating class was white. The worst part was when I looked at my year book and noticed the Asian club did not have a single asian person in it 😂

No. Check the kinds of crime (Madison scores high in property crimes and assaults are notoriously underreported). And let's not forget policing has a lot to do with stats. Drunks tend to get a pass but being homeless in Madison is a mortal sin.

I enjoyed this. I've spent alot of time in the top two cities, especially Boise, where I lived for 6 months as a teen. I'm originally from Seattle so it was a bit of a culture shock, which I appreciate experiencing every chance I get. 😂( I enjoy culture shock lol).

I wasn’t, I live in Arizona, and I do not live in either, Scottsdale is more so though relative to Gilbert. Also Paradise Valley which borders Scottsdale is on a whole different level, look no further than Zillow.

Yes there are. But phoenix metro is a massive area. Scottsdale and Gilbert are suburban cities outside of phoenix proper, and the Hispanic population is centered in other areas- Some of the other cities in the phoenix metro area have a much higher Hispanic population. The culture is very meximerican. Many people speak english but with some spanish words or phrases thrown in. spanglish? People say "hola" more often than "hi/hello" and things like that. There is a huge hispanic population and cultural influence. Scottsdale is very high income and in the case of Gilbert it was also more rural not very long ago so you have a mix of newly built high middle income homes and apartment complexes next to holdout cow farms. And that tends to mean more white people.

Except your own capital, London, is now minority white British. In just a period of 50 years or so it has been dramatically transformed by mass immigration. Other cities like Birmingham and Manchester are following suit..

Remember, he’s only showing cities with a population of over 100,000. Many smaller cities and towns have even more white people. The town I grew up in was 100% white with a population of 7,000. My high school was 100% white. This was in southern Illinois. All the small towns next to us were all white too. You had to go to a city of around 20,000 to find other ethnicities.

I live in Boise, and I was just waiting for it to show up. The reason that other cities in Idaho don't show up on the list is that they are too small to be in the top 100 cities by population. Boise, Meridian (also very white and very Mormon), Nampa, Pocatello -- those are the only large cities in the state.

I’ve lived in both Boise and Omaha. Boise doesn’t surprise me at all, it was very white. Omaha actually had a sizable black population in North O and Latino on the south side so that surprised me. I loved Boise. Omaha…….well they had good steaks.

The French settled in Idaho before the English. So, you have French names like Couer d'Alene (heart of Alene). Boise means wooded in French. It would be pronounced Bwahz -- like the first part of "Bwa ha ha," but with a z at the end.

Madison surprised me at first, but with some more thought, it made sense, along with Lincoln. I currently live in Michigan's main college town of Ann Arbor, which has always been fairly white. It has lost most of its black population while at the same time gaining people from various parts of Asia and the Middle East. Madison is Wisconsin's main college town, which would seem to point to similar demographics, but it's also the state capital, which would pull in white employees from statewide for the state government. Same for Lincoln.

No one wants to live in Indiana at all. Lincoln is where my family is from and it's completely garbage. Spokane is complete shit. Boise is good and if you can afford it, Scottsdale is great.

I'm surprised that Phoenix, Arizona didn't make the list. It's the fifth largest city in the US and 75% white. As for Boise, Idaho, the correct French pronunciation is bwa-ZAY. It has an accent mark (i.e., Boisé), and means wooded.

I went to high school in CS (Harrison) and it was 1/3 white, 1/3 black, and 1/3 hispanic. I'm actually surprised it made this list due to the large military population which brings in different races of people from all over the world.

I think the racist shoe is on the other foot at this point in history. I've never felt this hated for being white in my 62 years of life. I never felt uncomfortable around anyone due to their race. But now I try to stay away from pretty much everyone except my family. This country isn't as bad as we're told, but it's definitely far worse than it used to be.

As a white guy I do know what you mean. I think the main difference is that we aren’t systematically discriminated against to nearly the same degree as other races. But I see examples of hypocrisy all the time, where if you switch races it’s fine, but if a white person does it suddenly it’s wrong. That’s the most annoying thing about modern times, and it’s easy to see why certain groups of white people fight back against it, even if they’re not doing it in the right way, or go too far with the white pride.

What do you think "minorities and women are encouraged to apply" means? It's funny how they claim we "don't discriminate on race, gender, etc", yet encourage women and minorities to apply. Phoenix Bird commenting once again and you never fail to surprise me on such fascinating yet educating ethnicity geography lists Briggs! ^-^ It's so odd to see how only 70% of Gilbert is considered White (not including White Hispanic) as it seems quite low compared to the rest of the country being 1/3 people you see walking in public are from a different ethnic background. Maybe I don't pay noticed to someone based off their race but where I live here in Glendale even though it's in the borderline of Phoenix (similar to how you live in St. Paul of Minneapolis), I would see MANY Hispanics a few miles throughout my neighborhood! You would hear Spanish being spoken in all grocery stores and even would speak it to the citizens here as I even had a friendly greeting to an elderly Mexican woman I seen not too long ago as it was quite cloudy today and noticed how diverse our city is! ^.^ I'm only 4 minutes in and I never noticed how high the White (Caucasian) population is in our country considering how I would see quite a few nationalities out here but find these race demographics so interesting yet entertaining to educate myself about! 😀

I live in Mesa and I totally know what you mean on seeing other ethnic people out and about(especially Hispanics). The only thing I could think of as why it's so white is it seems the majority of people who are wealthy enough to own a home in Gilbert are white. Much more expensive there than in Mesa. Did you use a minimum population for this list? Even so, there are many cities with at least a 20,000 population who have a higher White non-Hispanic percentage than even the #1 city on your list. Knoxville TN, Venice FL, Pittsburgh PA, Worchester MA, and many more that have higher than 82%. I'm glad that you mentioned that it's not unusual for people wanting to live around people who are like themselves; i.e., same age, race, religion, interests, etc. That's not racist, it's simply natural and occurs predominantly all over the globe.

The capitol was moved south of the Platte to get people south of the Platte to vote for statehood. They were talking about joining Kansas because Omaha was, and the Pacific railroad was being built, north of the Platte and South Platte rivers. Settlement wasn't allowed in the upper Republican valley til after statehood, the first homestead in Furnas County was filed in 1871, Red Willow in 1872, Dundy County in 1879, and Hitchcock County wasn't established til 1873.

My dad wore suits to work as a social worker so he did often take me out of my norm especially when we went fishing. You said the cities ad to be in the top 100 populations in the US. Then you include Gilbert, scottsdale, Spokane, Boise, Fort Wayne. If you included Gilbert and Scottdale because they are in a large metro area, then you missed a ton of towns that are almost 100% white that are in large Metro areas. Atherton, Eden Prarie, Malibu pop into mind. There has to be 100s of them in the US.
