Whitney was The First International Artist to perform in South Africa after Apartheid ended. Hence all the emotion in the air. Btw I love this look on her. I think this was a Marc Bouwer dress (so if the dress in the All That I Need Video) She always looked good in his stuff.

not an excuse - try watching John Farnham "Help" live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - it is a curtain call after a 2 2/1\2 hour concert - nothing wrong with the man's voice - it is more likely to do with her abusing her voice with substances during her life - sorry but you can't destroy your instrument and expect it to still be great. It is terrible that she succumbed to temptation or pressure -either way it did her no favours for longer stage performances, or her health. RIP Whitney.

@@nkcubekohani5146 so is drug abuse - build a bridge and get over it - she used coke and that is known to destroy your nasal passages and lungs - she had issues is all I am saying and it did her no favours.........it mostly stemmed from her ex and the lifestyle she was introduced into plus the DV.................it still ruined her capacity to sing like she once did........just acknowledge that we all have feet of clay.

We have not been treated fairly as human beings! Brought tears to my eyes! The hurt that I feel when looking back at how the entertainers came together for South Africa! Jesus help us love everyone even our enemies!
